If you are looking for a very convenient way of quickly staying on top of dust, then look no further. Getting started could not be easier. Grab a duster, fluff it up, attach it to the handle and you are ready to go. Simple. It’s light, its manoeuvrable and the magnetic attraction mops up the dust no matter what the surface, allowing you to negotiate around obstacles like ornaments, etc and also remove dust from them without lifting. They are more expensive than a simple cloth or yellow duster, but they are quicker, much more effective and don't result in the lifted dust being deposited elsewhere, which happens with a normal cloth or duster. Dusting will never be a pleasure, but the Flash duster certainly makes it less of a chore.

However, they’re a bit of a one-hit wonder; once they’re loaded with dust, they’re not as effective, so you have to swap them out sooner than I’d like. Still, they’re great for hard-to-reach places and make dusting almost…fun? Four stars for a cleaner home and a little more joy in the chore!

These Flash Duster refills have completely transformed my cleaning routine – they're like having a magnetic force field for dust in your hand. I love my flash dust catchers. I suffer with a bad back and these have made it much easier to remove dust up high or down low without as much bending. They seem to grip the dust, so you feel like you are actually removing it, not just stirring it up. You can see the dirt you are removing which is very satisfying. Once they get really grim, you simply remove them and replace with a fresh one.

I decided to pick this up on a whim to help manage some of the dust around more delicate mantle pieces and collectibles, and after a little bit of reading the boxed instructions, I was off dusting all I could reach! It works great initially, though when you reach it's upper limit of attracting dust to it's fibres with static, it will brush it up into the air as most ordinary dusters.Good thing, the pads are very much recyclable so there's no worry to switch over when you've expended it's use. They're quite big and gentle on anythhing which might need a softer touch. And when on a sale, they actually show to be quite a good value for money for the speed and ease of use.
