Absolutely the only way to turn the spring nut on my motorbike. Still needed to grind the pawl slightly to fit the notches, and had to also buy a spring compressor to take most of the force off the nut, but was an indispensable tool.

Tool ok still couldn't use to adjust rear shock. New rear tire installation dealer adjusted for me.

I purchased a 2000 Sportster 883C which had the original shocks. I wanted to adjust the preload to see if they would last the season or not. I did not have a shock wrench and chose these based on price, look, and number of available sizes. I am set for adjusting shocks for life. They performed well and were comfortable to use. I ended up replacing my shocks but prefer these over the wrench that came with the new ones.

They fit for most shocks but I wish the handles were a bit longer.
