Rust Bullet Industrial (1 Pint)

Rust bullet has a short shelf life once it is opened so for small jobs this is the best at a very good price. I have contacted customer service twice and received outstanding service twice. The product is easy to use. I used this to stop the rust on my gas tank and the frame on my truck. I will be really testing it out by putting it inside my pitcher pump. Before the Rust Bullet the pump was full of rusty water because the rod and weight inside rust as they are constantly covered with water. I now have it apart and prepped to paint. After I get the pump back together I will keep this review updated. I rebuild the pump every 2 to 3 years so I will be able to let you know if the Rust Bullet last 10 years like it is supposed to.

holy crap this stuff is tuff as nails when fully curred. i used it to paint my outboard motor gear case. saltwater / freshwater and still going strong and super simple to use.

Rust Bullet - sticks like crazy! Only time will tell but it covers well and still and cures like crazy! Don't get it on your skin because it is very hard to take off if it dries. The product recommends 2-3 coats with dry time of 6 hours in between. I did 4 coats with dry time of 24 hours. Of course I sanded the rust first and cleaned the surface with alcohol!

I used this to paint a diesel engine on my boat. The engine was built in 1980 and had developed some rust. I wire-brushed the rust and cleaned the surface well with MEK to remove grease. Painting the Rust Bullet on is easy and it winds up looking a little like aluminum paint. More silvery than plane gray. After a year it shows no signs of deterioration. I will paint my rusty lawn furniture with it next. The stuff is expensive, but it seems to work much better than rustoleum or stuff like that.

We use this product to paint aluminum chimney caps and they come out looking like new and the life of the cap is protected for at least 10 years
