What don’t I love about Ray Dalio and his book. Principles will be a timeless classic and the guided journal is awesome. Ray’s mindset is pure gold and he is like the mentor fatherI wish I had. A legend and doing the work in this, I visualise Ray telling me and holding me accountable. Beautiful piece of work and such high quality. My only feedback is the nice free pen should be offered in the UK. Thanks.

There are exercises that link to an app that cannot be downloaded outside the USA. The very first chapter starts and is built on using the app so it’s a pointless book if you’re located outside of the USA. Don't buy it if you are in Europe.

A great partner to Rays principles book

principles: your guided journal helps you apply principles to your life in an organized fashion for those who need help or just want repetition. i loved Principles, and so do i love this journal. they both are phenomenal pieces and provide you with invaluable wisdom that will improve the quality of your life in every regard (not just a little, but drastically)! i recommend both the book and journal to anybody and everybody from all walks of life, to all professions, however young or old because despite Dalio being an entrepreneur and investor and philanthropist, the ideas in Principles are mental models and thinking at the meta level. this makes it not specific to any industry or type of person. for example, he dedicates a chapter in Principles (not this journal) on decision making, which if i’m not mistaken is commonplace to everybody. he has wisdom on every situation you would face in life and helps you navigate through them with principles. i think plato would have called him a philosopher king. but below is about Principles in relation to the journal technically speaking… principles is probably the right book to read first before this journal, but you could do the journal only if you’d like and you’d still get insights of Ray Dalio. if you have read principles already, i recommend this journal to support your application of the book. though you could do without it because there is nothing necessarily different in it (expect the life arc exercise at the end which i found invaluable). it simple reframes the logic of principles in a practical approach for you to understand and apply to your life, much the way heraclitus says “no man steps in the same river twice.” it consists of exercises and pages for you to write down your principles. it’s an interactive journal with QRs which will lead you to his app for case studies to learn from.

El libro es increíble, solo el método de entrega daño el libro

Na minha opinião o livro é mal diagramado e editado. Isso prejudica muito a experiência de leitura pois não é "agradável" para se ler. Teoricamente, foi feito desta forma para que se possa escrever e anotar ao longo do livro. Achei confuso também, pois em determinado momento ele pede para escrever sobre "princípios", mas não cita exemplos do que são princípios nem explica qual a diferença de "princípios" para "valores", por exemplo. Além disso, existe um app que complementa a experiência permitindo fazer testes, assistir vídeos etc. Este app não funciona fora dos Estados Unidos. No geral, não gostei. Os demais livros do autor considero muito bons.
