Excellent chocolates.

How I started this review: I’ve only just begun to eat my way through this exquisite box of assorted dark chocolates. The second piece I had was a lemon cream that itself was worth the price of the box! If only I could have an entire box of that one type! But each is good in its own way. I will hope for a second lemon cream as I progress through the collection. My better-informed Edit: I’m now two thirds of the way through the box, and have found nothing since that first lemon cream that has seemed at all exciting. The flavors lack intensity and specificity. I often am unable to tell what the flavor is intended to be,’other than sweet. Also, the coverings are excessively thick and stiff, obscuring the fillings, nothing like the hand dipped chocolates of old, but rather seeming to have been made in a mold. I will not be tempted to purchase Leonidas again, though I will eventually finish consuming this box, even though I take more enjoyment from my Lindor 70% balls.

Delicious, very nice execution, wonderful textures, and flavors. Nicely presented.

My wife and I really enjoyed these. I would have preferred to get more of the pure chocolate pieces and next time will look for some offering without the different variety of creme and other fillings which we don't much care fore

Superb chocolates for a picky husband!

very nicely packed in secure chilled container. was exciting to open shipping materials. actual chocolates box was lovely with nice stickers. inside was a half filled jumbled top row, second row was overstuffed and poorly arranged, no trays or presentation decoration or arrangement, no literature explaining what each chocolate contained. the value is in the happiness received in opening a beautiful gift. this was an embarrassment and disappointment, she loved my effort, and forgave the poor result...... perhaps emblematic of our 50 years together, one decision with a good result than lasted 50 years
