I have a decent collection of Victorinox Swiss Army watches, some are "screw back" some are "snap back". The little tool is for the snap back type of watch. In the past I have smashed a glass face of a watch trying to push the snap back case back onto the watch. This tool applies even force to snap the case back into place, the various dies are plentiful and if you choose the correct ones (for case back and mating watch) the process is simple. easy and safe for your watch. UPDATE**** Used about 10 times maximum, the soft aluminium lever that is used to put pressure on the case has broken, too soft material and a slot all the way along it's length further reducing it's usage time. So it works well for a short time before it breaks...........

Good piece of kit, helped me repair a particular watch with a very tight fitting back. Sturdily built. Good VFM.

We bought this after my husband changed a battery in his watch and couldn't get the back on again . It needed hardly any pressure and it popped the back on straight away . Just make sure it has pushed the back on evenly all round , it did seal fully on ours, but it can happen that it hasn't . So just double check . But this is well worth buying, saves so much money having to go to a Jewlery store to have it changed
