I'm now purchasing this case for the 3rd time. I buy this case every year since I've owned this phone. I'm a mother of 2 under 4 years old and this case has been through it all. I only replace it due to the ridiculous amount of scratches I get on the screen protector otherwise it's perfect. My phone still looks brand new even though my phone probably get dropped or kicked almost daily. This phone has been dropped in toilets, left out in the rain, tossed in a bowl of ketchup and mayonnaise and still kept my phone completely untouched. It's cheaper to spend $15 a year than to replace a phone completely and it really isn't even necessary. I just do it for aesthetic reasons not because the case is actually destroyed. Only reason I took a few stars off is because the screen protector is so easily scratched.

Bouth this case ro replace a similar. This one seems to be much better so far. The screen protector is much more scratch resistant than the last one I had. Also the other one ised to muffle my voice during calls and it was hard for people to understand me. I dont seem to have that problem with this one. I watch youtube vids while im in the shower and ive dropped my phone pretty hard on the tiles while the water was running directly onto my phone and no signs of moisture or damage. It also seems easier to pull open the plug for the charger port. Overall im very happy with this case.

This case is almost perfect. It's extremely nice for the price. My biggest complaint is that it is huge compared to the size of the phone. The lifeproof water proof cases I have owned in the past have always been about the same size as a regular phone case. Maybe slightly larger. This case is gargantuan . It does a pretty good job protecting the phone though. Especially against water. Before use, I tested it underwater for 30 minutges according to the instructions, and it was dry as a bone when I took it out of the water. Also, I took underwater videos with my phone in the case when I went swimming.In the past, I have used waterproof cases as my everyday case, because I am a sculptor and my phone can go through quite a few ordeals. This case is much too large for an everyday carry. Therefore, it is being used as my vacation and/or exploration case, while a non-waterproof Trianium case will be my edc, since the s8+ is already water proof.Pros: The built-in screen protector fits great and feels durable, the fingerprint scanner still works, the screen is still just as responsive, pictures still look great, there is a built-in lens protector, wireless charging still works, the case looks decent, it feels durable, it works under water, the ports are still accessible, it provides good protection from drops, and it is very inexpensive [about $60 cheaper than it's Lifeproof competitor].Cons: The case increases the phones size to about double what a normal case would. Also, the speaker seems to loose a little volume with the case on.

Love this case!! This is the 2nd time I've purchased this case. It's for my husbands phone & he is very active, doing road construction & maintenance. It seems to last about a year & only reason for replacing is the clear plastic cover gets scratched. I highly recommend this case!!

The fingerprint reader does not work. I don't know if the problem is in the cover or the phone. I have not used the fingerprint reader for a while since the previous cover also had problem with it.The corners of the touch screen are also not very sensitive. Sometimes I have to press a few times before the touch was detected. I have no problem with other parts of the touch screen. I have not submerged the phone under water to see how water tight the cover is, but it is ok under running water with the screen facing the water. I have not tried the sides, however.Upon further observation, the whole cover was slightly bent, concaved on the screen side. This could be caused by the high heat in the truck trailer during shipping. I downgraded the rating by one star because the cover material could not withstand high heat.

Thought it was a decent case at first, it fit well and wasn't very hard to install but the port for the charging cable was not lined up quite right and I had to search for a cable with a really small connector base to fit through the not-lined-up hole, and then had to struggle to get it to plug in so it could charge. Not worth the bother or the price because of the inconvenience of it.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this case. The first case took me through 4 years of waterfalls, snorkeling and accidental drops before being dropped onto an edge that cracked the screen.It is a little bulky, yet still fits in an average pants pocket and has the nice wrist lanyard attachment.Few to no problems with the fingerprint sensor, even after it got cloudy and worn.All buttons work well and the camera still takes great photos from both ways.
