Glorich ACK-E12 AC Power Adapter DR-E12 DC Coupler LP-E12 LPE12 Dummy Battery Kit for Canon EOS M200, M100, M50 Mark II, M50, M10, M2, M, Kiss M, Kiss M2 Mirrorless Digital Cameras.

We use Glorich adapters and they work really well - we use them for the Canon 60D and 80D! I've copied information below from Glorich on how to use the adapter with the Canon M50 mirrorless camera, it's very helpful - because attaching it on this camera is a bit trickier. We bought this adapter first, since our camera salesperson promised to allow us to test it on the Canon M50 before purchasing the camera, but sadly we couldn't get it to work. So - we didn't purchase the Canon M50 - we're animators and really wanted to try a mirrorless camera, since animation creates a lot of wear and tear on the mirror, and we suspect that a mirrorless camera will last a lot longer for animation. I've attached photos I received from Glorich that shows how to properly attach the adapter for the Canon M50. We've very glad that Glorich makes these adapters - Canon no longer makes adapters, so these are filling a real need! Too bad that our camera salesperson couldn't help us - due to budgeting we'll have to wait for a while to try out a Canon mirrorless camera now... but at least we know that the Glorich adapter is available. Here is information I received from Tony L. at Glorich: "For the Canon M50 camera, the notch is in the center of the battery cavity door and it is covered by a rubber flap. The correct method is to install the dummy battery into the battery cavity, push and have it locked, then close the battery cavity door, the pull the rubber flap outwards, then plug the connector of dc wire into the dummy battery via the notch. I am herewith attaching you a picture to show its correct installation and usage. Please follow to thest steps then it should be able to work." (see the photos)

Si haces streams, grabaciones largas o usas la cámara como webcam, este accesorio te ahorra tener que estar cambiando baterías cada rato. Se conecta fácil, el dummy encaja perfectamente como una batería normal y el cable es largo, lo que da flexibilidad para mover la cámara sin forzar conexiones. I waited to write this review, as I didn't want to give it praise, then have it fail to work. Well, maybe I'm still a bit early with this review, but I have used the AC power adapter a number of times now, and it works flawlessly - to date. If you are using an M50 on a tripod/in studio close to AC power, this is a great alternative to using batteries. Save the batteries for when you are on the run! So far, a great purchase.

update; Good day! i just recently found out that my coupler is not working. I dont know what happened but surely the metal connector is damage. Do you sell coupler only? thanks noel --------- I also had issues on the buzzing sound and guys from Glorich contacted me and apologized. They replaced my product with a new one free of charge and now works well.In case you encountered the same just contact the guys from Glorich. They are more willing to help you solve the issues. 5 stars for the product and 5 stars for the after sales!

I bought this because of the great reviews, but also because it has a long cord. I use my camera on a tripod and the cord is plenty long to reach the floor. It was super easy to install, great directions with color pictures, and it works perfect.

Seems to work fine with my Canon M50. Not the sturdiest feeling product but since it works it is a product I can recommend.

Exactly what I needed! works perfectly for the canon m200, which has a pretty short battery life without. Very happy to have found this solution.

STRONGLY recommended for anyone who plans to record more than a few minutes of video or plans to use camera as a webcam! + Modular design, but that also means all the cords and adapters need to be connected + Dummy battery easily fits into the camera + AC adapter (switching transformer) runs only slightly warm Initially I couldn't believe there was a way to connect the DC power cord to the dummy battery while the camera is still mounted on a tripod. Canon's door design is truly clever: lift up the rubber flap to expose the hole in the door for the DC power cord connection! On simple tripods with a small quick release mounting plate, it's still possible to remove the DC power cord, open the battery door and carefully extract the SD card.

Works as advertised. Feels like good quality.

Funciona correctamente,lo use en camara CANON M50 por 7hrs. sin ningun problema,lo recomiendo.

Reliable battery performance

Just received battery coupler adaptor. Worked immediately with canon m100. No issues. Should save me from getting more rechargeables when I need to shoot in studio.. I shoot my artwork. Its still better to use my samsung camera when out or on vacation lol, way smaller and more practical. But m100 is good for copy work. But needs this dedicated adaptor. I understand from reviewers that it's also 10 timea cheaper than the oem adaptor, and that is no longer sold. So hope this one lasts. Will update if any issues.
