Great kit

I had forgotten about the derby until the last minute, so bought this so my son would have something to race. Had high hopes based on the reviews. It arrived quickly and looks really nice. My son won the "Coolest Paint Job" award for whatever that's worth, but this car still got smoked by a fair chunk of the field. I'm a bit disappointed in its performance. The car that I made last year did better, actually. I would only recommend this for folks that need a car at the last minute.

We lost 2 times in a row even using the 3 wheel technique. It's fast but not quite fast enough 😒

We won every race of our pack and den. Was awesome. We polished the wheels also and lots of graphite.

Doesn't come with everything it says it comes with.

Legit. Read the instructions on using the wheel spacer & hike the one wheel up if allowed. The three additional holes in the bottom were perfect to drop a weight in each one & the car then hit 5.0 oz exact.

Someone at my sons den had purchased this car and raced it. It had smoked everyone’s car. I reported it. Don’t ruin the Pinewood derby for the kids involved. Don’t be that dad.
