Brush & Roller Cleaner

Unbelievably, there are still great products being made and more importantly sold at an extremely reasonable price. This brush cleaner comb works fantastically! Prior, I was trying to clean our brushes with a mini steel wire brush and it could never clean the interior part of the brushes (especially the large brushes) as well as I liked. Hence, the brushes were slowly building up paint and varnish near the head and getting thicker at that area. This comb works great to really dig in there and get them clean. It really helps to soak the brushes for a day or two in a heavy concentration of Murphy's Oil Soap and water and then scrape them clean. This comb also has a tip to scrape out the rim of a paint can, and a half moon scraper to scrape roller brushes of excess paint. I am super happy with this purchase. A must-have for anyone who works with brushes for various projects.

I have done a lot of painting and am currently painting my kitchen and family rooms. This little gadget is the best paint brush cleaning tool I have ever used. The teeth are sturdy and spaced just right to break up the paint on the brush. Does a wonderful job.

I have stabbed my thumb many times on the sharp side when my wet hand slips. It does the job, it is inexpensive and has lasted for years. I'm just tired of the inevitable jabs when cleaning. I'm buying the less-lethal Purdy model.

This Brush and Roller Comb makes cleaning my paint brushes that are used to apply chalk paint to furniture so easy to clean! It's cut down on my cleaning time greatly and gets the paint out of my super thivk Zibra paint brushes easily and quickly. Zibra brushes are 1/2"+ thick and store paint deep inside and chalk paint dries quickly to bristles leaving a ring of dried paint on the brush that's difficult to remove and this gets the paint out and off in a minimal amount of time with minimal work. The long prongs are sharp ang get deep inside the brush and close to the ferrule while the shorter brushes are closer together and not as sharp to remove the paint from the outer bristles quickly. The entire comb is very sturdy and doesn't bend even though it's plastic - a very thick plastic. I have no worries that the handle will break or that the prongs will break off. The hole in the end makes it easy to hang to store so I can alsways find it. I couldn't improve on this product if I tried.

I have to admit I pretty much went with the cheapest option. Reason being is that I am going to use this for some pretty nasty brushes. So I ordered this one. I am positively surprised. For 5 bucks (Dec 2024) this is actually a descent tool and works great. Five stars from me!

This is a great tool that makes paint cleanup easier and quicker as you spin excess moisture or cleaning solvents from the roller cartridge or your paint brush. This is a replacement for the same Warner tool I purchased while painting in college in the mid 1970’s. Broke it this fall after 50 years of use.

I've been painting and cleaning paint brushes for decades and this is by far the best. It is useful scraping excess paint off of rollers and cleaning brushes. I also use the little stub at the end to help clean out the ridge in the large paint can lids.

It does the job stated but the brushes careen out of the spinner if you don't have it "just right" .... but it's manageable and it saves my expensive brushes. It came with the plastic lock on top broken off but it's not essential for using it so I didn't care. They should have wrapped it better for shipping.

Very handy indeed.
