Very nice quality steps. Easy to install and much more durable than our previous plastic steps that were deteriorating and leaving lots of white particles in the pool water. Very smooth finish and smooth edges all around. They are hollow underneath so they probably cannot be used for the step that sits on the bottom of the vinyl pool, but they work great for the all the other steps. Tread measurements are 17.5 inches long X 3 inches wide X 1 inch tall. The non slip step pads on the tread are attached and held very secure. They are not glued on so they should not fail by coming unglued and slipping off over time. The stainless steel does not go to the entire tip of the tread. The ends are made of plastic but appear to be a heavy grade that will be durable. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I called a local pool store to inquire about replacement steps for my pool ladder, which had one really worn out step and one missing step when we bought the house earlier this year. The pool store guy asked me the ladder brand - I didn't know. He asked me the age of the ladder - I didn't know. I asked him if I could look at/try out what they have to see if it will fit - he doesn't carry them in stock; only special-orders them. Told me without knowing the brand and/or age of my pool ladder, it would be really difficult to get the right step. I looked at amazon and found this pool step, which looked like it would work. I ordered two pool ladder steps. The whole process took about 5 minutes... The steps fit perfectly and look great. Only hassle in install process was removing the old, worn out step (I wound up using a hack saw to cut the old step off close to the bolts holding it to the ladder, then I was able to get enough grip on both nut and bolt to remove them). Installation of new steps was waaaay easy. The steps appear to be very durable and I expect years of service from them. I chose not to purchase the expensive (about $20) amazon-suggested add-on set of nuts and bolts for the ladder. Instead, I went to my local big box home improvement store and picked up what I needed for a fraction of this amount. So, thanks amazon for turning this quantum physics-like problem at the pool store into a fast and easy shopping experience!

I've been replacing the plastic ones for years and finally upgraded. 2nd summer and still working out fine. Also much easier to install than plastic, you can get a deep socket on the nuts.

The steps are a huge improvement over the plastic steps that came on the ladders. They look sharp, feel solid, and fit easily as replacements. The mounting holes were a little smaller than the original bolts, but it was very easy to drill them out to the size needed. I would have preffered all stainless, but the steps are attached to plastic mounting plates on the sides. It will take time to determine how well the side plastic pieces hold up. If they last, the steps will be all I could ask for. The pricing was far better than many others I looked at, and they appear to be the exact same step, though it is hard to tell from pictures. All in all, very pleased at this time with the steps.

While these bolts don't exactly match the originals, from a concave vs convex perspective, they fit well enough. Lenght is a tough longer but not an issue. Flange nut secures the ladder steps nicely.

I ordered three of these,to replace my old weathered, brittle, steps of which one was broken. I suggest buying replacments for all your old steps, as these appeared to be just a little wider (3/8") than my old steps. I was a little worried that they were too wide, at first. This turned out ot not be a problem, as there appears to be plenty of slack/slop in the old ladder design. These are much thicker, wider, and sturdier than my old Swan steps which they replaced very well! I highly recommend these as replacements.

The concave head curves opposite of what it should. In the picture you can see my old bolt with correct curvature that follows the curve of the approximately 2" stainless steel tubing of the ladder. It is designed so the head sits evenly flush with the tubing, and helps to hold it from turning when tightening nut. These bolts are manufactured incorrectly and sit up away from the pipe (this curve would only work if the head of the bolt was inside the tubing and pointing outwards). I would've reused the old bolts, but they were the wrong size for my new steps. One final concern, the supplied nuts are NOT the same grade as the bolts (nuts are more magnetic and have different overall appearance); I would be worried about eventually rusting in my salt water pool. Overall, a big fail!

Klasse , gegenüber dem europäischen Markt um vieles günstiger. Die Wartezeit war keine Woche obwohl es mit 4-6 Wochen angegeben war. Bis jetzt kann ich kein Manko feststellen seit circa 2 Monaten im Einsatz. Bin begeistert!

They look awesome, feel great on the feet. Can’t believe that is my old pool ladder. Assembly a breeze. Would recommend. I feel that they will last for years to come.

Well not exactly like the ones that they replaced but being slightly thicker and well rounded edges will not pose a problem on the ladder when touched. Should have seen these first and I would have bought 2 sets.
