I always had the bad experience buying online products where the quality of material will not be to that level as it appears on screen or as mentioned in the product description. Buth this item(Water Timer) is of excellent quality material ,rugged . I am putting this comment within next 14 hours after receiving it. So im not sure about its durability. But the timer is very easy to install & use. I tested it for the minimum timing of 12hrs(freq) & 2min(duration) . It worked perfectly ,exactly at 12 hrs the water started coming out of the timer for 2minutes and stopped automatically(attached video) .Its very easy to use. When i saw the picture while buying it thought there are too many buttons on the timer and it will be really difficult to program it .But when i operated it in hand, i realised there is only one button at the center. with whihc we program it completely. Its worth to buy

Got delivered in 2 days! Awesome! Short term review after installation: Pros: 1. The build quality is very good. 2. Very easy to install. 3. Setting the timer programs is easy once you get the hang of it. 4. They provide adaptors for all kinds of taps, so you don't have to go and get a plumber for just that. 5. The plastic shield seems to be water tight to some extent. So don't worry about frying the electronics if a leak occurs. 6. Works even with low water pressure. Some other water timers available online have a valve that requires a minimum of 7ft height difference between the tap and tank to even open the valve. But, this one works well even on the terrace where water pressure will be lower. 7. There's a rain sensor port which can delay watering during rains. Haven't tried it yet. It has to be purchased separately. Cons: 1. The battery compartment gives me anxiety every time I open it. The wires are attached to the battery case. So if you're not careful you'll rip off the wires. 2. Have no clue how long the battery will last. Some reviews say it doesn't last long. I'll update the review after testing. 3. The transparent plastic shield is a screw type. So it's frustrating to unscrew it every time if you want to manually water the plants. It should have been a flip up type. Note: Get a 2/4 way splitter like mine, so that you can still use the water tap without the timer. Review will be updated if any issues occur over the long term.

No need for much technical knowledge. Anyone can easily install this. I installed it myself in my garden. It works well. Now I only go to the garden once every 3 days to fill the tank with water. This water timer takes care of the task of watering on time.

Very complicated and hard to operate system.

Writing after many months of use. I must say this is best than solenoid type. Battery works for 3-4 months, if timer works for two times. And material is very very good. Mine is installed under direct sunlight and still like new. Must buy product.

My requirement was to have an automated timer based valve for balcony drip irrigation. But the tricky part was i do not have a water tap in balcony. After some research landed on this product. The greatest plus point is it is ball valve based and can work in zero pressure (like a can filled with water as in image). The product initially delivered had slight leakage in one of the valve amd the seller was prompt in replacing it right next day. The new one works flawless both timer and flow is great and my plants are happier even in this summer and vacations, price may be on higher side but it is worth the money - those who have this requirement would really go for it since for them plants are more valuable asset. 😊
