Plates are pretty good, but screw heads wear out and plates eventually fall off.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Decent plates for the heels of my boots, but one plate feel off on day 18, the heads of the screws grind off, then the plates will come off. I don't know if there is a glue that will work. They should include a 100 pack of extra screws, or at least a link for replacements. I don't see how they could re design the product. A thicker plate would be able to protect the screw heads, but I don't know if I want thicker plates on my heels, but it might be worth a try. RECOMMENDATIONS; 1, My boots were worn slightly on the bottom of heels, so if yours are worn, be sure to bend the ends just a tiny bit to conform to the radius of the worn edges, I was able to do this with two pairs of pliers, the material is fairly soft. 2. In my case when the heads wore down and plate fell off, the remainder of the screws were visible and could be twisted slightly out with my micro angled snips, then I was able to get my forceps on them and easily spin them out a bit, then put plate back over broken screws and finish backing out one at a time and replacing it with a new screw so i'd be sure to use the same holes..... hope this makes sense when yours need replacing. I'm not knocking this down to 1 star in hopes that the seller will link me to replacement screws, and or the exact Glue that will work, not just a reply with some bs like; ''use an epoxy'' I want/need to know which glue 'exactly' will definitely work. ---- Amazon should give us a larger window for writing our reviews, it is tedious to scroll up and down while writing and editing our comments, making it easy to miss mistakes.

Don’t use the supplied screws.
The screws are not strong enough to hold the plate on the shoe. The screw heads pop off the moment pressure is applied. Not one screw head, every single one. They are the wrong type of metal. Now I have to figure out how to get the decapitated screws out of the heal of my shoe, which may be ruined.

Work as advertised.
As I walk I scuff both outside heels. These allowed me to get longer usage out of my work boots, saving me money.

Weak screws
The screws that came with it were weak and either striped the heads out or completely broke off in the shoe even with pre-drilling the holes. The plates themselves were ok. Nothing special. They didn't take long before the were showing a lot of wear and even bending.
