Absolute best Bluetooth Quad Pedal for Musicians!
The PageFlip Dragonfly USB/Bluetooth Pedal is the absolute best companion device for musicians for hands-free control over their sheet music apps running on an iOS or Android Tablet. The 4-pedals operate silently. You do not hear any clicks when pushed making this device ideal in a studio setting. I have been using this device to turn pages in MobileSheets, Songbook+ and ForScore on a 12.9” iPad Pro. You can download the free software from PageFlip to program the pedals on your PC or Mac after establishing a Bluetooth connection. This software lets you assign Keys found on a standard QWERTY keyboard including modifiers like Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Win/Cmd. You may also assign Hot Keys like Play, Stop, Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Right Mouse, Left Mouse, etc. Once you have programmed the 4 pedals, you can save these settings under one of the 5 memory banks called Modes. The 5 Mode Buttons gives you access to 20 key combinations that you can trigger from your Dragonfly. One mode can be active at a time. The red LED below a Mode Button indicates the active mode. Besides turning pages in Sheet Music apps the Dragonfly is ideal for triggering frequently used hot keys on desktop software running on your PC or Mac. I have programmed it to take Screenshots in IrfanView and Snagit and navigate through cells on large Excel spreadsheets. Turning on the REPEAT switch comes in handy. I keep the LIGHT switch always turned on. It helps to see the pedals in the dark. The Dragonfly runs on 2 AA alkaline batteries. The unit auto shuts off after 30 minutes on idle. You can view a short video on the PageFlip YouTube Channel where George Wolberg, the inventor of this gadget explains his frustrations as a musician trying to turn the pages on his music book while he plays the piano. That is what led to his perfect solution. I am delighted with the prompt and helpful Customer Service from George. I am 100% satisfied with the PageFlip Dragonfly. It has served all my needs as a musician and programmer.

Works well
I looked at all the options. This one works. It's silent and dependable. Bluetooth or wired option is nice.

Perfect!
The Bluetooth connected immediately to my old iPad 6. I had a different page turner that I tried for a live gig, but the foot pedal was so small that I had to keep looking down to make sure I pressed it. The PageFlip Butterfly it has a large enough surface area that I did not need to look down. I used it for a gig this week and it worked perfectly!

Godsend
The PageFlip Firefly BT pedal is a godsend to musicians using digital score readers. It makes page-turning an absolute breeze, almost like the score’s pages are effortlessly turning themselves. This pedal has removed much of my stress during public piano performances. I find it superior to the AirTurn pedal in several ways. As a classical pianist who practices several hours a day, I had been using the AirTurn pedal for about two years. I switched to the PageFlip Firefly about six months ago. I’ve used both pedals with the forScore and Newzik score-reading apps. Advantages, in no particular order, of the PageFlip Firefly over the AirTurn: The PageFlip Firefly is less finicky than the AirTurn. I no longer have to worry about inadvertently turning two pages at once; The PageFlip is easier to find with my foot. The shape of the pedal matches the shape and angle of my foot on the floor. The lightly-corrugated, rather than slick, surface feels more secure; The PageFlip BT pairing mechanism is simple, straightforward, and immediate, whereas the AirTurn is more complex and can be very frustrating to attempt to pair; The PageFlip is more substantial, seems better-made, and seems not to slide on the floor so much; My experience with customer support for the PageFlip (when I wanted to re-program certain pedal functions) was outstanding. My experience with AirTurn’s customer service (when I had trouble pairing with my iPad a couple of times, and once when the pedal failed) varied from excellent to horrible, depending on whom I reached. In the past several months, several of my amateur and professional friends, colleagues, and musical partners have upgraded from the AirTurn to the PageFlip Firefly; they express general agreement about superior functionality. Usage TIP: You can make the process almost effortless—and avoid unnecessary movement, stress, and musical disruption—by resting your foot on the PageFlip pedal itself, rather than on the u.c. (pianists), the floor, or perched at an angle above the pedal. Before you start playing the piece, rest your foot (all the way down) on the Firefly pedal, it turns the score to p.2. Don’t move your foot, and use your finger to tap the iPad to turn back to p. 1. Keep your foot down as you start playing. To turn each page, lift your foot up a bit, then lower it all the way to rest on the pedal again until the next page turn. (Note: For this to work, the Repeat switch on the pedal must be in the off position.)

Works perfectly but pricey
I'm a guitar player and this device works perfectly to let me use PDFs of music and change pages with my foot while playing. It's well built and easy to setup and use. The only complaint I have is that it's a lot of money for what it does. It's durable plastic but still plastic and costs as much as some BOSS effects pedals and all it does is flip pages on an iPad :/ FYI (and the manufacturer has great resources for this on their web site): it doesn't work with every PDF app. I did a lot of research and settled on PDF Expert, which is a pricey app at $10, but does a fantastic job of letting me mark up PDFs on the fly in rehearsal with notes, stamps and highlights to help with performance. FWIW it also works with Planning Center Online's "Music Stand" app if you're in a church band that uses that app.

Works Great!
This unit works very well with my iPad Pro 2nd generation 13". I use it with the forScore app. Works perfect. The lights on the pedal option are nice when you're in dark locations.
