Not effective at all
I tried them and they did not detect motion. They stay on forever. They do not switch off. Waste of money

Works well as expected.
Works well as expected. I put 12V lights in the basement attached to solar. The lights were on 24/7 but the solar did not keep up in winter. This solved the problem.

Seems to work for lighting up my shed, note positive is always "closed"
Ok, so I put some 12v LED strip lightning in my outside shed, connected to a 12v battery with a solar panel and charge controller. I also added in a switch. However, I would sometimes forget to turn the switch off and then it would run the battery dead overnight. So I wanted to add some kind of motion sensor so that I could have it turn the lights on in a more automated or as-need fashion. Found this, installed it the other day but couldn't figure out why the lights would stay on. Turns out the issue was that the positive terminals are always "closed", or connected. It is the negative terminals that are "switched" by the motion sensor. I don't know what the best practice is for DC power, if the negative is supposed to be the side that is switched, or the positive. But coming from AC electric home wiring, I wired the switch in to switch the positive leg from the battery to the LED light strips and the negative was always connected. So when I wired the motion sensor in there as well, now the positive would also always be "closed" (or "on") and the lights would not switch off. So I re-wired it so the switch and motion sensor expect the negative leg to be "switched" and it is working great.

Can use two sensors together for one light
Used these sensors with some led strips mounted underneath stair handrails. They were just what I needed to have one sensor at the top and one sensor at the bottom that work together.

They don't work
All three are bad. They don't work. It turns the lights on, but the lights never turn off, no matter how you adjust the settings; they don't work. Garbage, don't buy.

reliability
I purchased a single unit of these in 2018, installed in a kitchen pantry and it still works perfectly. I use it with LED strip lights. I purchased this "3-pack" for another project and like the ease of installation. Basically, install, set up and forget it.

Works well for me
I'm running solar charged battery powered 12v RV lights in my big shed. Installed the 12v motion detector. Now when I walk in or drive the tractor in, the lights turn on automatically. Couldn't be more pleased.

Loud buzz when using dimmer
I added these to a 120v to 24v under cabinet lights. They work but: The first time you turn on, it comes on for a couple seconds, then goes off. Motion is needed to turn on. No too bad though. The real issue is the buzzing when less than 24v is sent through via dimmer switch. Too noticeable. Cannot use. Or use lights at 100%0
