Great resource
I have a foam spine corrector and have done classes with them (As a student). I wanted a book with a clear list of exercises so I could do them at home. This book is fantastic (so are all the others int he series). There are alot of easy to look at pictures, written descriptions and in the back is a list of the exercises, so once you learn them you can just look at that.

Great instructional manual
I’m a Pilates instructor and in my opinion Stott’s has the most comprehensible manuals They are far better that the Balanced Body manuals I used during my training.

Four Stars
Excellent manual, just very pricey.

spine corrector
very applicable prop for many reasons. The handles at the sides is a stable addition. The depth is good for shorter clients.

What? How? When?
In large measure, the various exercises are too hard to follow when trying to interpret them lying on the floor! Too many details and not organized in a useful and manageable way.

I have done Pilates for several years (reformer) and really felt that this book was too basic for those who have done Pilates but not good enough at explaining how not to injure yourself if you are not an experienced user. I also felt that there were not enough exercises for opening the upper back. Basically I felt that I wasted my money.
