THEY SENT ME USED ONE AND MISSING PART, BAD QUALITY THREADS.
Received without stake, and used one. The threads are the worst quality and i cant refund it fortunately.

This is a great addition to my camping gear. it's easy to put together and is sturdy enough to hold my lantern off the table to save space and help brighten the area. I also hang my Thermacell mosquito repellant on it. Since the tubs are hollow, so don't try to hang too much or heavy items on it or it'll definitely break. I thought about getting another one and put them on opposite sides of the table to hang string lights. The one thing I don't like about this is the screw placement that locks the pole to the base. It's a wing screw so if you put the base all the way against the table the wing screw will hit the table edge.

After spending years of my hiking career heating water by headlamp light, I continued that process now that I'm camping with my son. The system works. Grab the Peak Refuel or Mountain House and boil the correct amount of water. The problem is that I learned how to cook with my dad using a Coleman 2 burner stove and now I can make some really fancy meals. I want my son to learn how to cook, not just boil water. These lamp holders make it possible for me to hang a couple GZ lights and illuminate and entire picnic table. Now I can use my 3 burner stove and start teaching my son how to actually cook well and safely. The get the job done well as long as your light source is light weight. You're not hanging a big lantern on the hook. You can make a much stronger setup with a broom handle and some hardware for less. It's Redcamp. Don't expect too much. For me, these holders work great. They're not super sturdy. They're a bit overpriced. They are versatile and light weight. I don't take them hiking, just camping. For me, they're good.

Got this for my camping kit to use with my small Goal Zero light. Extremely happy with the size and how easy it is to store!

It is an okay item. Would like to be more sturdy.

Not sturdy enough. Might be good for a city park but it is crap for actual camping in the mountains.
