This book I found very High level, not much details on how to STOP the Cyber attack.....

It is ok to use as an introductory material for cyber security, especially for those considering a career in InfoSec and wishing for a road map. It is quite broad, but not very deep in content. I give it 2 stars because the quality of some figures, and even presence of some figures, is unacceptable. First, there is a resolution problem, as some (in fact, most of) figures are difficult to read, because they were copy-pasted from somewhere. Second, some figures are simply bloating the book and do not add value (e.g., the scheme of SANS courses here that both suffers from poor quality and does not add value). There is even a picture of the cover of another book from the same author - in the text! Why does it need to be there? Is giving the title not enough? Just to make up for more pages? I think that by placing poorly readable or unnecessary figures, the author and the publisher show their lack of respect for the reader's time and money. I will not buy other books from this publisher because this lack of editing is unacceptable for technology books.

I’m a network engineer so when I recently started getting more into the security side of things I decided I needed a good book to get up to speed on the basics. This one came recommended by a friend and they were absolutely correct. It was easy to read and understand. The topics are laid out in an organized manner which flow from one to another nicely. I feel more confident diving more into cybersecurity after reading this book.
