It works well like the original. Can see the amount of dirt and dust in the chamber. The LED light is helpful to spot dirt. The rollers are a bit noisy though. This is a big saving.

Excellent vacuum head

My family has been rocking the Dyson Pet Vaccum v11 for a couple years now. With multiple pets (2 dogs & 2 cats) and a toddler, this thing sucks, in a good way. Unfortunately, the main attachment broke and we needed a replacement. I've been eyeing this replacement piece for a couple weeks now. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for" with most items. This is a rare exception. This thing works great! We have mostly hardwood floors with a lot of area rugs and this thing picks up everything. I even put it to the test on our high traffic, carpeted back porch with leaves and a good amount of dirt. The attachment had no issues handling the job. Some reviews are saying this guy doesn't work great with some rugs, and I can probably see the issue, but I'm not having that problem. Summary: Dirt and pet hair on hardwood floors and area rugs won't stand a chance. The roller is soft and won't scratch floors. Plus, the LED light on the front, which the original didn't have, is a nice addition to see what your picking up/missing. Longer shag carpeting might be a problem, but maybe you're vacuuming wrong, I dunno. All and all, I'm happy with this product.

The power head on my Dyson stopped working, and the replacement through Dyson was too expensive. I found this and it has been AMAZING. It is much cheaper, and honestly it works just as good, if not better than the original Dyson head. I have 2 dogs, and this does an amazing job of pickup up their pet hair, as well as anything else on the ground.
