Great for the price, but not perfect
If you are looking for perfect placement of your knobs/handles or have unusually proportioned drawers/cabinets, you may want to skip this one and buy something with true adjustability. However, if your main goal is just to get a moderate number of pulls placed consistently without a lot of hassle, this template set works great. With the included drill bit, the only thing you need besides this kit and your hardware is a power drill, tape measure (for finding the center of your drawers), and something to mark the holes with. For the drawer template, the sets of holes are spaced about 1/2" apart vertically and extend about 4" down. So if you need to hit the precise vertical center of your drawer or have drawer faces that are more than about 8" high, this product might not fit your needs. For many people though, I think that having pulls placed uniformly and within about 1/4" of the true center height is perfectly fine. You do need to find and mark the horizontal center point of your drawer though, in order to place the template properly. From there, simply line up the template with the center mark you made on the top edge of your drawer, mark the holes you need on the face and move on to the next drawer. The cabinet template is also very simple to use. It rests against the corner of the cabinet door, and then sets of holes spaced about 1/4" apart allow you to choose how far from the edge of the door you want to mount the pull. Here is the main drawback: all of the sets of holes start 1.5" from the vertical stop on the template. So, assuming you are mounting pulls on the bottom of your cabinet door, the lower hole of the handle will always be 1.5" from the bottom edge of the door (and vice versa if you are mounting to the top of the cabinet door). For your typical cabinet door, this is a pretty typical mounting location, but just be aware there is no simple way to adjust that on this template. There are some slots on the cabinet door template that you could conceivably use to customize the mounting locations, but frankly at that point this product is not adding any value, and you may as well just make up your own jig. The stops on the cabinet door template are a little bit flimsy and will bend with moderate pressure, so take care that you just rest it into place against the door edge while marking holes, or else you can flex it out of square without a whole lot of force. The included drill bit works fine, but I can tell it is dulling after a couple dozen holes. A replacement 3/16" brad point drill bit is a few bucks at the hardware store.

A must have for drawers & cabinets!!
These templates are amazing for installing pulls on drawers and cabinets! I install pulls for builders (50+pulls avg. home.) It tremendously speeds up the installation time, works fantastic once you learn to use it properly, and the size works great with almost any drawer & cabinet. Definently recommend this product for a DIY person or professional.

Worked GREAT!
I was able to install cabinet and drawers handles perfectly! All I did, was measured for the center of the drawer and marked it. Then marked dots where I needed to drill holes. The cabinets doors were even more easy. I had peace of mind knowing it would all be the same. Best $7 I’ve ever spent. I wouldn’t hesitate in buying this for personal use.

Great product for novice installer!
This is a great product! I'm an okay do it yourself person and this exceeded my expectations. It's hard plastic and comes with the drill bit and instructions. I considered other more professional looking options and, oh boy, I'm glad I went with the cheaper and easier option. I was installing drawer and cabinet pulls for my entire kitchen. My cabinets are solid oak and I used a pencil for marking which I think was good opposed to getting a punch. I installed 26, 5 inch hole length (128 mm), pulls on both drawers and cabinets. Measuring the middle for the drawers was the hardest part. The cabinets were super simple.
