Awesome boot
Most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. Wore Redwing lace ups for years, getting a couple of years before resole was needed. Construction sites are hard on boots. First pair of Redbacks lasted three years before exposing steel toe from kicking rebar. Patched it up with JB weld and still going two years later! Closest feeling to working in comfortable socks you will ever find. Once you get the correct metric size, you will never buy any other boot for work. I often wear mine on my day off because of their comfort.

The real deal.
These are a beautiful set of boots. Full grain leather, steel-toe, smooth slip-on and very comfortable once you get through the hellish break-in. Quite honestly the best pair of boots I have ever owned.

Amazing boots
A coworker recommended these boots, so after a ton of research I bought them I wear them everyday a minimum of 12 hrs a day sometimes up to 16 hrs a day. So far they are the best boots i've bought. I walk on concrete all day. I have bought thurogood boots for a long time but they only last bout 6 months and have to replace the sole I was done with shipping them back to thurogood every six months so I decided to buy these and I love them. You can Not feel the steel toe in them. They are super light and very comfortable even at the end of the day. As for myself I will definitely buy these boots again. Easy on and off. I have not wore them in water deeper than about an inch so I cannot say if they are or not water proof. The biggest thing I can tell you is sizing. Australia sizing so if your like me and wear a 11 in American size then you wear a 10 in Australian boots other than that definitely buy them and try them. I also have a higher arch and have not had any issues from these boots.

Great water proof boots for winemaking
i use these boots for a winemaking production part time job I took. I had ordered some Blundstones but I think these are sturdier. And the more full time people I know in the industry say Red Back's are tougher. They are very sturdy. They take a week or so to break in, so give them time if the room is there it will be a good boot for you. Make sure you take good care of them. But they will stay waterproof for a couple of years I think at least. Great boot. Worth the expensive $.

Good boots, slightly uncomfortable at first
Boots are great quality, however they were pretty tight on the top of my foot and some of the leather on the inside had some un-refined edges making them uncomfortable. I used some mink oil and a hair dryer with double socks to stretch them out a bit and they were fine. I normally wear an 11.5/12 US, but ordered these according to what they said and they fit well from a size perspective.

Red Back boot, not a Blundstone but BETTER
When it comes to shoes, I am admittedly a diva. It’s not all about looks. It’s about fit. I am not really a common customer for shoes as I have unusual needs. With a shoe size of 14 narrow, specifically a 14 aa-aaa, it is rare I can completely recommend any footwear to anyone. In my 50+ years of life I can count on one hand the number of shoes I’d get behind. This boot is definitely one that gets counted on that hand. On a whim I ordered these boots as I have friends that absolutely love a very similar style of these boots, Blundstones. I tried the Blundstones but I found them unable to fit my feet even with extra insoles(the best solution for me next to custom-made footwear). I loved everything about them except the fit, which is an automatic “no” when it comes to buying shoes. I just happened to be tooling around on the web one evening and somehow found a link to the Red Backs. Made in the same style, same country, and for the same consumer demographic, the Red Backs fit!!! I did have to add the extra insoles, on top of the great insoles these boots already have, but they REALLY fit, almost like a glove. I didn’t even feel the need to do the “wear them around the house” trial period. I knew within an hour or two they were going to stay with me. Try didn’t require any break in. They were perfect right out of the box. The only problem I had was that I wanted to wear them to work so badly… I am a contractor, specializing in carpentry, remodeling, and a GC On a day to day basis I never know what I’ll be doing and my shoes can and will experience the unknown. Basically, my shoes will get beat to hell, at least on the outside, daily. Well, I found a solution that solved all my problems; I found another pair, same size, style, and look, but this time with steel toes. I snatched them up. I was a little scared I’d be disappointed because it is rare that two different boots, same size and style, especially since the new ones had steel toes, would actually fit. I got the second pair, put my additional insoles in, and prayed they worked. I have a hard time taking them off now. That’s not because they have changed shape or size, but because they are so damned comfortable. Eight to ten hours at a stretch, and my feet feel great as well as properly protected. Long story perhaps. But, I am sold on these boots. When or if I do wear them out, I already know what I will be replacing with: THE SAME EXACT BOOT.

Not what they used to be.
These are not the same boots they used to be. Cheapened up significantly. There were voids in the fills on the soles. The boot toe cover is now gone. The boots are made much smaller in size also. I ordered the exact same size I had before and in came in way too small. No room in the arch area. Too bad....they used to be the best boot I had ever owned. Alsp charged me to restock them and since they were shipped in a bag UPS made me buy a bag for them to be shipped back in.
