Storing various versions of windows installations for temporary archival purposes (XP, 7, 10.....) Works as intended. No complaints.

In general, these flash drives are good to average in quality and use for their type of design. In other words, flash drives have limitations as to quality of write, sturdiness and length of time to store properly. These particular drives are in the middle of that category. They are fairly sturdy, use a decent type of memory to write and is persistent. I use them for music files between iTunes and my car. The failure rate is about 2 in 10. Flash drives can fail for a plethora of reasons - chief among them is bad memory cards, voltage spikes, misuse/abuse, and being ejected improperly before they have finished. If your usage is not for transport, but more for absolute storage like backups, they should be tested prior to being put away. Same thing if the drive is for transport to another person. Before finding out the person got a rummy, it should be tested. All in all four stars for the amount of storage and generally dependable results within the confines of the specified usages.

These are formatted in Fat32 at 3.73 total space with 3.72 Gigs to use. Ideal for all your important files to take on the go. Make sure you don't put it in your pockets and forget it, Why am I saying this... These drive a bit smaller that your standard USB flash drive and you don't want to loose the data on them. So transfer your data as soon as you can so you can fill the flash drive with more data., The price is good for a pack of five. The main reason I got this set is because my older flash drives dismounted when going into a system utility for the specs, plus they were wearing out. These will last for years depending upon how you use them. Would I buy them again? Yes. I have need of USB 2.0 flash drives.

It's great for if you're trying to use it as a bootable USB flash drive for computer that maybe failing to boot. However the storage space is highly limited so you can barely fit a movie on it, It may be highly functional for pictures If you have a moderate resolution camera. But for this day and age 1 GB is roughly what one megabyte was back in the early 2010s, pretty much useless. However they are fairly durable. And ask for compatibility the ability to change them from format to format to suit your needs via it be computer, PlayStation or Xbox is a plus. But again it's small size comes into play in all of that You can't download a game to it might be able to save games to it but I haven't tried that. It's speed isn't the greatest, but it's acceptable. And my computer recognized it Right away. One currently serves as a boot up disc for my windows another service as my boot up disk for Linux because I run multiple PCs.

Love these Usb sticks which come in a cool little storage. The different colours mean I can use them for different files and I know exactly what's on which USB. The connect well in all devices.

It works fine on equipment that still require USB 2.0

Unfortunately two of the drives were dead . Very frustrating. I got a refund but I actually wanted to use then so I was still stuck.

I bought these hoping they would all work, well 9 out of the 10 will format with my Embroidery machine. Not sure I will buy this brand again have had better luck with other brands.
