A bit pricey, like all Cross refills, but performs nicely
I've been a lifelong fan of Cross writing instruments. Have a bunch, including fountain, selectip, rollerball, ballpoint, and pencils. This refill is excellent, though, like all Cross refills, a bit pricey. Local OfficeMax does not carry it yet, so only way to buy is online. I bundled it with another purchase from Amazon, so the shipping didn't run the price up even more. This is a rollingball refill that fits Cross' new slimline (and reasonably priced) Click pen. It is smaller in diameter than the standard Cross rollingball refill. The Click delivers rollingball writing in a pen that's slender as a Cross classic ballpoint pen. The inkflow is smooth, and the lines are vivid. The line weight is a little heavy for anyone who writes very small or finely, but I love it. I also like the option of having rollingball writing in a pen that doesn't require me to remove a separate cap. I just pull the pen out of my pocket, click the button on top, and start in. Would be nice if it came in a finer point too, but overall this is a joy to write with. The ink supply lasts a reasonable time. I think I used the first refill for about a month.

Excellent pen but short life cycle
Fits my favorite Cross pen perfectly and smooth as butter. These just do not last very long, but worth the smooth action of the ink.

Perfect!
Purchased this for a friends old Cross pen. I wasn't sure I could find the right one, especially on Amazon, since I thought it was older. However, after some searching and research - success! The aforementioned friend said, “It’s great. Nice and smooth; doesn’t blot or clog.” So, there you have it. Also, I was surprised at the great price. Although, I don't know yet how long they last. Personally I love the way these gel pens write and would love to have one of my own.

The refills don't last long, and most have at least one angle at which they won't write... unless you rotate the pen to the other side of the nib at the same angle.

Lovely ink flow
I bought this cross pen in 1987. I have had it replaced, for free, three times due to damage. Everyone I have ever let borrow my pen have wanted to purchase one. This gel ink is fabulous.

4" Length. Too short for my classic gel pens. No ink, irrelevant of size/fit.
Does not write, fresh out of container, irrelevant of pen being used. Item description of 6.5" is irrelevant. No one cares about the size of the package containing this refill. Length of refill is 4 inches!!! Too short for 10/12/14 kt gold classic gel roller-ball pen(s). Even if length had allowed refill to function, no ink! Zero ink run time. Zero fit for above pens. No ink, so no value period.

Smooth flowing bold ink provides emphasis for your important thoughts
I really like the gel type pens. The gel ink flows rather smoothly. Left-handed writers tend to push the pen rather than pull it as do right-handed people; therefore a smooth-flowing ink is essential. Ballpoint pens/refills, especially those with fine tips, have a scratchy feel to left-handers because the ink ball is being pushed and not pulled. These also provide some security for hand-written checks due to the indelible nature of the gel ink. The downside to these refills is how quickly they get depleted. They are also rather costly when compared to standard ballpoint pen refills.

Very nice refill
The refill works great. I'm very impressed with the ink flow, consistency and richness/deepness of the color. It makes my Cross pens one of my favorite special pens. I used this in the click top cross pen, and it fits great. Highly recommended. Wish it came in larger multi-packs.

Less of a review & More of a feedback In 2015, I had purchased the CROSSS CLICK ROLLER BALL PEN for I guess Rs.2000. In the last 7 years I have purchased at least 6 refills for I guess Rs.500 each. Hence I have spent over Rs.3000 in refills for a pen that costs Rs.2000 !!! Nevertheless, thank you Amazon for genuine refills each time. Regards
