Better than Lego??!!???
If you’re like me, I was really nervous about branching out to something different than Lego. Some things I was nervous about were: 1) missing parts (like Republic Bricks) 2) faulty bricks 3) hard to read/incomplete instructions 4) Incompatibility with Brand Lego From the packaging (step by step bags), similar instruction style, no missing parts (they gave spare parts just like Lego [why it says 1,320+ parts]), completely compatible with brand Lego, and familiar piece design, the quality of this Mould King product far exceeded my expectations to perfection. I have no complaints. It felt like an 18+ build, but if you wanted to as a play functionality to it, there’s plenty of room under the huge panels to make some kind of interior (I’d recommend stabilizing the panels more bc of the 18+ detailed yet delicate design). I hope this helps you guys venture out like I did to try something new. If the price had no factor, I’d say it’s a complete toss up between Mould King and Lego. When Lego cost double or triple of Mould King sets, for me, it’s a no brainer. The literal only ”downside” is that it took 9 days for it to get to my house. They shipped it same day, but because it’s coming from overseas, it took a little over a week. 10/10 product, would recommend to a friend.

How to build, instructions, recommend to buy.
Value 5/5. Building Directions 3/5, missing pieces 5/5 (was not missing any) . Looks and feel 5/5. Design of ship 4/5. 13 steps to build the ship. You will need glue recommend two small plastic specific 10sec dry glues. If you enjoy puzzles or building Legos this a great buy, you will get frustrated the directions although good are not specific enough and hard to read you will find yourself having to count the length of pieces you are about to use. If you do not use glue the bottom exterior will not stay in place. But if you simply glue the magnets provides to the frame and hull and then let the magnets snap in place then it works great! I would recommend you use glue when building the engines and rear of ship, a lot of weight their and although their build design is clever it is structurally weak for the engines. Also when putting on the stands, glue all parts of it before you move on. Much harder to do later. Ship looks great, son and I (he is 6) had a great time building. But for the price, I am very happy with my purchase. Would recommend to anyone.

Frustrating FAILURE of a gift to my son
A seasoned LEGO builder with many years of experience, I gave the Mould King 21005 Super Star Destroyer Model, Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, to my son with high hopes. I am disappointed and frustrated on every front after shelling out $275 for this set. Months of patience were tested as I struggled with instructions that were challenging to read and see, even with a magnifying glass and flashlight, because grey on grey pages drawings added to the confusion, requiring frequent backtracking to understand the placement of certain parts. Certain crucial building steps needed to be covered better, particularly concerning the wings that hang from the bottom. The build is weak, flimsy, and prone to fall apart at the slightest touch. Working in one area often led to collapse elsewhere due to poor structural support. Pieces refused to fit snugly together, requiring constant reassembly. As noted, I found that the lower panels of the set were particularly problematic. They were supposed to be held in place by magnets and flimsy connectors, but they stubbornly refused to stay put. This was just one of the many challenges I encountered during the building process. Despite my best efforts, keeping the set intact proved an uphill battle, with parts frequently detaching due to poor design. My experience with the Mould King Super Star Destroyer Model and Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser is not unique. Similar complaints can be found in Amazon reviews and Reddit, indicating widespread issues. When reading about many buyers who have used superglue to make the set work, you should run away from this brand! ---The seller was responsive and worked to address my concerns. I rate them high for support, but maintain the product is a fail---

Great detail and scale.
Great set! Looks great and it's nice to finally have an accurately proportioned version of this ship to display. Particularly like that even the underside is tiled and includes the underside hangar. Great detail for the price. Cant really be removed from the stand and has a few fragile connections, so definitely a set for displaying, not for kids to play with. The engines in particular could have been attached more stiffly using something like rods. The whole rear end can be easy to knock off and a little difficult to get back in place, but that's a minor complaint. Still 5 stars for the value. Measurements are accurate, bit bigger in person than I was expecting.

Looks ok, but is extremely fragile.
I was very shocked at how fragile the design is, most large assemblies attached with only a stud or two, which made it so the build was so fragile that you cannot even lightly touch any part of the ship without it snapping apart. However, I managed with great difficulty to get the ship fully assembled (difficult because you have to put force on the pieces to snap them together, but are not able to touch any part on the build itself while doing it). I was relatively happy with how it looked on display...

Great build
Lego has nothing on this brand. Awesome build.

Eclipse model
The eclipse model is not the best design for stability I can look past hard to assemble components, I want a challenging build but as I assemble the fins on the lower section the build techniques are illegal designs and ‘cause fragile sections. I’ve had to use spare parts to make this actually hold together.

Not bad for the price
Nicely numbered bags, the pieces look like the name brand blocks and when finished the ship looks great! The negatives are the directions at times and the upper and lower sections are fragile, also the clear section of the stand doesn't hold onto the ship, ai had to apply museum tape to hold it. Lastly just build it and don't play with it.
