CPAP Jumbo Pillow

Took me quite a while to get used to the cpap mask and machine, so many masks...so little time... and I tried most of them. I finally have wound up with the Liberty mask and while searching Amazon for cpap stuff I ran across this pillow. The cut outs are very helpful and the firmness is a happy medium. The pillow is also medium thickness and allows you to easily adjust your position to comfortably accommodate the cpap mask. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong giving this a try, the quality is good and it comes with a pillow case but regular pillow cases work just fine too.

After 5 years of resisting paying over $35.00 for a c-pap pillow, when I can buy a new pillow for $5.00 at KMart, I have no regrets! It arrived quickly too! The BICOR pillow is much better than any conventional pillow, and I have tried dozens! The pillow even came with a free basic pillow case which washes well. I will probably never wash the pillow because it is so compact and firm and probably won't dry out well if washed. I won't mind buying another BICOR because of the excellent design which allows me to sleep on my side better than ever. For sleeping on my back, the pillow has a real comfortable dimple in the middle which keeps my head centered and supports my neck as I doze off. During this first week of use I find the pillow firmer than I had hoped, and I can not sleep with the BICOR through the night yet, however it is better than a regular pillow, any night!. I hope that the pillow will soften with use so I might stop getting a pinched neck resulting in cut off circulation to my arms when I sleep on my side. It is too thick to sleep on if I sleep on my back, causing a stiff neck, and my head to roll forward toward my chin. I have not figured it out yet, however it is STILL BETTER THAN ANY FLAT PILLOW I HAVE EVER USED.

Like a rock. Does not give at all. Placement of opening for cpap mask is awkward and non functional. Pillow case is really flimsy. Don't waste your money as it does not work unless you have a really long neck.

You still have to hang your head at the end of this pillow to keep your mask from rubbing and getting disturbed. There is not enough of the pronged shape ends on all 4 corners to support the pillow and make it functional as they intended. It would of been better if there was just a whole in the center for your mask to sit in thereby having the pillow still support the rest of you.

It's comfortable enough but not good for a side-sleeper...unless they have a DARN long neck. For myself, the side cut-outs should be closer to the top/bottom of the pillow sides similar to some of more expensive pillows. In retrospect I wish I'd spent the $20 more something like the Contour CPAP Plus; but this pillow is good enough that I don't feel compelled to do so to obtain the desired sleep comfort.

works well - not as described - b/c i'm short the mas portion doesn't hit the cut out section.. but the pillow is soft enough that it doesn't break the seal by leaning against the pillow.. otherwise nice pillow.

My other half has terrible sleep apnea and wears a big BiPAP (similar to CPAP) that was frequently hitting a traditional pillow and popping off/leaking. This one is listed as "Jumbo" but seems more comparable to a standard size pillow (glad I read other reviews that the smaller one was indeed quite small). Custom case is washable, but I would recommend covering with another case as well because the single supplied one doesn't protect the pillow itself beyond a very thin and somewhat flimsy later of custom-cut light fabric. Maybe BICOR will introduce a more durable second custom-cut pillow cover to protect these....hope so.Bottom line, though: it does seem to help at least this particular CPAP/BiPAP sufferer. The number of times per night he is awakened by the mask leaking/shifting from turning of the head is, on average, lower with this pillow than before. However, we have also raised the head of the bed with a 5" wedge, so it is tough to know how much of the improvement is the pillow and how much the wedge. Still, glad we purchased this and are glad such a custom pillow is available for the masked sleepers among us.

It did not help with my snoring.
