Anyone who's had to change a wheel bearing on a Subaru with 200,000+ miles on it can tell you a horror story about trying to get the bearing off. This tool is a game changer. This tool removes hub style bearings like they are brand new even when they are completely rusted in place. Saved hours of time and untold amounts of effort, sweat, and tears. It seems expensive until the first time you use it and it just works so perfectly.

Hub extractor tool is excellent. Nuts and washers that come with it are sub standard quality if you are going use it I would advise removing two of the old hub stubs and replacing them will your on boults ans nuts with heavy square washers so there's no play before you hit it with the hammer.

It has happened to the best of us. I couldn't believe my eyes when I used mine. There I was doing some maintenance on another vehicle....Amazon man was a few stops away and then suddenly walking up my driveway....I gave him an ice cold water because it'll make his day better than mine. I open the package to reveal something that just doesn't look like it belongs in the real world. I keep my faith based on the insistence of some professional techs that keep this in their tool box. I mount it with hardware recommended to me by others. Just a few minutes of striking and my brake dust shield is loose and there are gaps.....the wheel hub is coming off....there is hope. Alternating striking allowed me to get my hub I seized enough I could use opposing studs to get it to come off straight.....but I know the real hero getting it loose at all was the hub shocker. Again I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using hardware you don't mind destroying when you mount this to the old hub....you don't want to ruin your OEM lug nuts.
