Trying to repair a broken rain barrel drain can be tricky. You need to know the correct hole size. Looking at different plug kits is a daunting task as you need to know the correct dimensions of the hole. The one I ordered was perfect for what I needed. I tried several different methods of repairing the hole with pieces parts from Lowes use gorilla glue, epoxy but they would always pull out. This drain plug kit is inserted from inside the barrel and has gaskets and a nut for the outside that secures it from the outside. The info on the drain plug provided vital information needed to get the correct fit. Would highly recommend looking at these for repair of your rain barrel.

I installed these things when I hot them to the bottom corners of my trash cans and recycling so when I clean them out I dont have to tip it over and bend all over and it's still holding strong

Shipping was fast and accurate, Value was good, but product is incomplete. It was missing the second gasket/washer.

Easy to install and what not. No leakage. Just what I needed.

I was sorry to return them. They are nicely made, seem to be quite flexible (the plug can go in from either end), and the gaskets seem to be silicone with multiple 'vanes' across the profile - so they look like they would seal very well. They were just a HAIR over the diameter of my hole, but the hole I have is not practical to enlarge. Pity.
