This cleanser is the best I've ever used for oily skin. Even better is how deeply it clears my pores of makeup. I wear a lot of makeup, including long-wear foundation. Even with using makeup-removing wipes, I would still have residue on my skin. This cleanser removes all traces for a super deep, fresh clean you can really feel.

Came just as detailed. Fantastic product and helped me a lot with pimples!

It was like washing one’s face with vegetable oil. It caused my pores to clog and I had new breakouts the very next morning. Terrible product.

My daily routine now includes Cetaphil! In the past, I'd use soap and water and a soft exfoliating scrubber followed by application of moisturizer lotion. It worked well except my skin still felt greasy and my pores looked like moon craters lol. My wife, a long time cetaphil user recommended I try using the Cetaphil oily skin cleanser. When I received the product, I was impressed that I didn't need the jaws of life to open the package or to actuate the pump. The instructions are clearly and legibly printed on the box and the container. I started off using 2 pumps per application on wet skin. Using my fingers I spread the product around creating a pleasant smelling foamy lather. After rinsing I noticed a slight but pleasant tingling sensation. When my skin had dried I was impressed that while it felt clean it wasn't stripped feeling. After applying less lotion than usual at night, I woke up with my skin still feeling pretty good. After a couple of days of this routine, I decided to try using 1/2 of the cleanser. The reason I opted for 2 originally was that the product felt watery. I was wrong. I got similar results using half the cleanser! Effective AND economical. After 5 days of using the product I noticed that my lunar landscape pores were looking less astronomical and more smooth! So, in summary the product: - works as advertised, - is easy to use - has a pleasant but not overpowering smell - is economical as a little goes a long way!
