Grizzl-E Heavy Duty Easy EV Plug (Tesla)

I mounted ours on the white trim of our garage door, it is easy to install, however you will need a long driver but for your impact or drill. It looks nice the plug actually plugs into the holder to keep it in place and dry. It was cheap, it works good and my only complaint is that the screw holes were a slight pain (they are very recessed).

I bought the Grizzl-E EV charging holster as the cable-management and plug-shroud to replace the disappointingly insubstantial holster that came with a different brand EVSE I just installed outdoors adjacent to my driveway in New England. The Grizzl-E holster does not have the flimsy feel of the competitor's holster, and I am very pleased so far. As with any plastic product that remains exposed to the regional climate elements (i.e. cold, ice, blizzards, direct sunlight) only time will tell if this holster will be a viable long-term solution.

Works well. Needed a long Phillips bit to install as the mounting holes are deep inside the product and are not keyholes. A screwdriver with a long blade would also work. As with almost all products that include drywall mounting anchors, the included ones are very basic and you might want to consider getting some different anchors if you’re not sinking into wood. The socket itself is not the typical J1772 shape. So, at first, I thought I’d received the wrong model. But it holds a J1772 plug just fine.
