Probably in common with most Brits, a household staple while I was growing up was the ubiquitous pack of fabric Elastoplast plasters. Over the years these evolved and Elastoplast introduced plastic variants. Yet the one drawback was that they all came off when they got wet. A few years ago I cut myself during a trip to Vienna and headed for the nearest pharmacy. I bought a pack of Hansaplast Extra Robust Waterproof fabric plasters. Frankly, the packaging reminded me of Elastoplast and I thought maybe Hansaplast was the firm's German subsidiary. (I now don't think it is.) These plasters are marvellous! I have yet to find one even coming loose in the shower or bath and they retain their adhesion until physically removed. BUT they are expensive, doubtless because they're imported from Germany. I've just bought some more via Amazon. They ought to become a staple over here, too, then perhaps the price would drop.

These plasters are quite robust. Just be careful if its a very hairy area. I lightly cut my thumb on a mandolin at this was wonderful

It has become my go-to plaster because of it's strength and elasticity. Stays in place even during movement. A clear recommendation from me.

Es reißt nicht ein, passt sich gut der Haut an und bleibt auch nach Stunden da, wo es hingehört. Fazit: Das Pflaster für alle, die nicht aus Zucker sind. Wasserfest, robust und zuverlässig – Hansaplast bleibt einfach die Nr. 1 bei Pflastern. 🩹💪

Habe sie immer im Rucksack für unterwegs, auf Wanderungen und im Alltag. Falls man irgendwo eine kleine Wunde oder einen Cut hat, ideal. Selbst an viel beanspruchten Stellen, wie den Fingern halten sie sehr gut. Allerdings hat die Wasserbeständigkeit natürlich grenzen. Nach ein / zweimal Händewaschen lösen sie sich ab, wie alle anderen Pflaster auch, aber bei Regen oder ähnlicher "leichter" Feuchtigkeit zeigen sie sich dafür unbeindruckt und halten Bombenfest. Für den Preis eine absolute Empfehlung.

I needed a bandaid for an awkward spot just inside my armpit and these were the kind that stayed in place best. Great purchase. Make sure the placement is good, because it's hard to peel off too soon and won't stick well after.
