Excellent!
After watching a few YouTube videos, I installed this product on my 2005 Nissan Frontier. The removal and installation are pretty straightforward. The product works as expected and it had no problem opening and closing the driver's side window. Excellent product and I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this product and this company - Dorman
I had a broken driver's window motor and regulator on my 2008 Nissan Xterra (sport). I checked with the dealer and the parts were about $700 for just the regulator and motor -- NOT the mechanical cable lift mechanIism. I estimated it would cost $800 to $1000 to have the dealer install the part. I found Dorman company online and they had a video talking about their company and their process. It seemed quite professional. I ordered the Regulator, Motor AND mechanical cable lift mechanism for under $70 and it shipped in a few days. I was able to look at some how-to videos online that were not complete, but enough to help me get started. I was able to replace the part myself with just a few tools. There are a few tricky parts to it --- so it's worth watching some videos first. The Dorman part was good quality and fit perfectly. It looked just like the original Nissan part. I was impressed with the quality of the part, the perfect fit and the excellent price. This company saved me a lot of money. I would recommend this part (and Dorman company in general) to anyone who has enough mechanical know how to take apart a door and replace a window motor mechanism. If you are a novice mechanic or have limited experience, then be sure to do some research. The hardest part is getting the door taken apart and dropping the window down so that you can release the window from the lift mechanism. You don't want to scratch or break the trim pieces when opening the door. But if you are pretty handy, then this job is not too difficult and the Dorman piece drops right in -- no problem. I don't often give feedback on products, but this Dorman product worked well and saved me a lot of money. I would use them again.

Works very well, if one uses silicone lubricant.
Fairly easy to install for the first time. All the bolts are 10mm. About 14 bolts in total. I did not have to worry about the window glass coming down, but that may not be the case for all installs. Since it was my first time doing it, I had a little trouble putting it in. But if I have to do it next time, it will go faster. Don't forget to use silicone lubricant spray down both channels of where the window slides up and down, after one installs this. I have read were people have been complaining about the speed. I had the same problem, until I used the silicone lubricant. Now it works like a brand new window, and I bought the motor that was a return. So it only cost me $30 dollars for the whole repair. Fairly easy install. Oh, if you are like me, I usually break some of the plastic pins when I pull the plastic door panel off, so buy some of them. They are very cheap. And also buy some Silicone paste, and put extra paste on the metal track the plastic goes up and down on.

2nd Gen Xterra Replacement Works Great
The first window motor I received from Amazon was used. The 2nd window motor I received was new, easy to replace, fit well and works great. Folks check your orders as soon as you get it due to shady folks returning used parts and Amazon not checking returns.

Quick and easy!
I was a little nervous about trying this myself, but didn't want to pay $300 for a shop to do it so gave it a shot. So glad I did. The new motor works great. Took me about 30 minutes to do this on my 2006 Nissan Frontier. I was having a regular/intermittent problem with the window motor. Sometimes it would work sometimes not. Sometimes when I would try to put the window down -- nothing would happen at all. Other times it would go down ok, but get stuck going up, or not go up at all. I was able to get by like this for a few months but banging my fist on the door panel below the switch and over the motor, which would start it working again. If you bang it and it works -- that is a sign the motor is going out from what I found on the net -- and it's true. On the club frontier forum, there is a pretty good pdf guide on how to do this, but even better is the youtube video of a guy doing the repair on a 2004 Nissan Titan -- the Frontier turns out to be even easier than the Titan! Here are some detailed instructions as well: Tools needed: small and large flat screw drivers to pry out switch and door panel clips, 10mm socket with extension, Masking tape to hold window in place during change out, razor blade to cut glue as you pull off the plastic dust/noise sheet without ripping it. To remove the door panel, there are three bolts. Two are under the padded armrest -- which you just pry off in an upward motion. The other bolt is in the recess behind the door handle, remove the plastic dish to find it. Use a small screw driver to pry out the switches and you are ready to pull the door panel. Go around the bottom and sides of the panel prying up with a large screw driver to pop the clips loose, then pull the panel up and off. After you get the panel off there is a triangular metal bracket that the panel was screwed into -- remove it with three bolts. Peel the white plastic dust/noise cover off carefully, as you go use the razor blade to cut the black glue as it stretches so as not to rip the plastic. Put the window most of the way down so you can remove the two bolts that hold the window to the regulator. Once the window is free, raise it by hand all the way up and secure well with masking tape so it doesn't fall and break. The window regulator assembly has four bolts to remove, two up high and two down low. The motor has three bolts and the power plug to remove. Once the bolts are all removed, bring the assembly out through the large hole at the bottom of the door. Note how things were put together before you remove. Install the new assembly in the same manner. Lower the window into place and secure. Now test the window by hooking up the switch to make sure it works before reinstalling the door panel. Now put the door panel back on and you are good to go!!

when seated in place, there is one bolt hole that is not 100% lined up, make everything not tight, and the bolt wiggles in. works perfectly. Directions could use a picture, just remember to lower the window to view the fasteners, and have tape/second set of hands ready to lift glass securely. other than that, this was one of the best ROIs for a DIY on this truck. 15 minutes and can grab coffee again in -20c and window works.... worth the money!
