Worked ok for installing a single DIN head unit in a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport, allowing replacement of the factory CD cassette player that had been on its last legs. The install was relatively simple, but the overall quality of the plastic is less then stellar, and is a little warped.

This was an easy and straight forward product to install. I installed this into a 2001 F-150 and had no fitment issues whatsoever, and it looks factory as well. I posted up some pictures as well to see the install actually in the truck. The only negative thing about this kit is that the bottom cubby hole is as small / smaller than it looks. I tried to show this in the pictures after the install was done. I can barely get my fingers in there, and if something were to get to the bottom of it, it would probably have to stay there! I also am not a very small mammal, so take it for what it's worth. I did not take off a star for this negative, because it is not Scosche's fault, they were working within the room they were given by the factory 1.5 din radio.

Perfect fit for 2000 ford ranger 3.0

Installation wasn't too hard. My problem was that the CD holder was bowed and did not sit flush with the rest of the face. Another problem was how the head unit was held in place. The cover that goes on the edges of the head unit is pretty much useless and easily falls out of place. And I don't like how easy it is to pull the stereo out because of it. Pros: -Fits a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport -Works with Sony DSXS300BTX -Pretty decent, rugged plastic that can easily be painted/coated for personal touch -Should require no additional cutting/alterations to make it fit properly (you may have to depending on vehicle). I actually had to cut the bracket that goes behind the head unit to keep it in place on the stablizing rail. It was too long and did not fit under the air duct. -Turns a double din slot into a single with a small CD holder Cons: -Edging around head unit is flimsy and does not keep head unit securely in place -CD holder may be bowed and not sit flush during installation and after -CD holder is a bit small to put anything other than CDs. Granted, I know there's a small amount of open space and I was not expecting much. I am just warning you if you think you can put your phone, wallet, etc there. Overall, I guess I would buy it again because I have yet to find another head unit installation kit that fits properly.

Used this to install a single DIN aftermarket stereo in a 2009 Ford Ranger. The pieces all fit, resulting in a clean, professional-looking installation. The only issue I had was with the back support. The CD pocket extended beyond the end of the head unit, this preventing proper fit. I may fabricate a space to facilitate this later however the aftermarket head unit is very light, so even without the back support I don't think it will be an issue. Overall, this product fits and works as advertised. It's impossible for the manufacturer to know which head unit will be used so I can forgive the fitment issue with the rear support.

El producto cumplio para mi Ford Escape 2006. Debí ranurar un poco la base donde empotra para que embonaran los sujetadores. Hay que manipularlo con cuidado, no intentar hacer mucha fuerza porque el material es quebradizo, se quebraron dos de los sujetadores que afortunadamente no se ocupaban para mi caso.

Fits perfectly in my '03 superduty. The only issue is the faceplate trim doesn't clip in very well, I just used some double sided tape to hold it on.
