Bought 3 Then Came Back to Buy 2 More
Bought these DC breakers to use in my Midnight Solar MNPV 6 Combiner/Breaker Panel. These breakers are rated at 15 amps to be used with DC circuits (not for use in AC circuits). Appears to be a quality product. Each one was easy to install on the rail in the back of the breaker box, and onto the buss bar at the top. I bought these more for their power on/off switching functionality than their safety breaker feature. I plan to use each breaker with one 100 watt solar panel, 4 total for now with one for a spare. The manual does say not to switch when there is a load being fed by the breaker, but I typically turn off my devices before shutting off the breaker. I figure by using one breaker per solar panel when/if I need to troubleshoot a problem it will be quicker and easier to isolate. I’ve been using these for about 2 weeks now, and so far all is well.

Midnite Solar Magnetic/Hydraulic DC PV breakers
Good Quality. Fast shipping. Had several devices delivered. Building a solar off-grid battery bank. Four GC2 golf cart batteries in 24v configuration. All 2/0 cables to inverter. Cotek S1500-124 pure sine wave inverter. Bank charged by Samlex SEC-2425UL in UPS mode. Sharp 240W panels, Outback FM80 charge controller and Midnite Solar MNPV6, MNSPD-300, EBBB, MNEPV breakers DC, and MNDC-GFP63 from Channel Island Electric as are the PV-MC4 double insulated cables. Will be adding a new bank of 208AH for a total of 416AH. If project grows an Outback Mate3 and FN-DC will be ordered. Cheers, John

As expected except if you force the lock clip the opposite direction it will break very easily.

Great quality product
Looks and feels like a good, solid breaker. Hopefully, it'll never have to act as protection. For now, it's a nice add to my system. I'm very happy with all my Midnite Solar products so far. 5 stars.

DC Breaker
These are nice quality DC breakers. I use 4 to control strings of solar panels running through my combiner box. So far, no complaints.
