Vitamix 15762 Speed Control Circuit Board

Vita-Mix Model VM0103 worked on full speed but not on variable. My wife uses this at least every other day. After ordering the main poteniometer and not fixing the problem I returned it (thanks to Amazon easy returns) and found and ordered this variable speed circuit board assembly. It arrived in two days and included excellent instructions with color pictures of the two different motors as not all are the same, and clear color pictures of the circuit boards. On the circuit board there are two DIP switches and a Speed Potentiometer. Depending on which motor you have you may need to set the DIP switches. There are A and B motors. Mine was identified as a B motor (metal lower housing clearly shown by the provided picture). With my B motor I needed to set the DIP switches both to OFF and on all motors you will need to adjust the Speed Potentiometer on the board for optimal speed on the lowest setting (identified as 1000 to 1500 RPM in the instructions) once you have it installed. It took a couple of tries to get this where the speed sounded right on low as I made small adjustments then put the unit top back on to plug in and test. I would not suggest trying to adjust this with it open and 110 V exposed. You could get zapped or at the very least short out the board. Saved spending $450 on a new one. Just as an aside, this circuit board assembly comes with a new main potentiometer that goes in the front panel and research indicated that this main poteniometer can be be a point of failure so I kept the old one just in case.

Great to find this Genuine OEM part on amazon it was fast delivery and I got the welder fixed quick. if I had gotten it from my local commercial kitchen supplier it would have been more expensive and would have taken way longer so very happy

Easy to replace and about a quarter of the cost of a new vitamix blender. One less appliance in the landfill.
