Solid tool
In 10 days did more than 1000 bends, size 3 & 4, grade 60, and about 50 bends of size 5. The tool continues to work without a problem. Two issues that may affect your use cases: 1. It is not easy to do multiple bends in one plane 2. Harder rebar should be bent in several moves, otherwise the bend frequently breaks . Overall review, extremely good value for the money

Sure beats manual labor!
We're building a concrete house in a seismic zone so you can imagine the amount of rebar in it. I've lost track of the tons of #3-#5 we've used. Anyhow, we've been using this bender for almost a year now and it is working well. Once you figure out the sequence of bends, it even bends stirrups. We normally use it on a 4x8 workbench but it is possible to bend rebar in place. It's an armful to hold in the air while bending 'in place' rebar, but it does work if there is room to operate it. We did have a problem about a week ago, where the unit just died. The seller took about a day to get back to us, but was helpful with ideas to check. What ended up fixing our bender was the old ' rap the starter with a hammer' technique if you remember working on cars years ago. It's been working fine since. Also, be aware that the bender does not bend the rebar to code. ICBO/ACI specify a minimum bending radius. This bends it sharper which doesn't meet code. This hasn't been a problem for us, even with grade 60 rebar, and I've heard of other jurisdictions accepting it also, but be aware of it, in case your inspector decides to enforce the minimum radius. In all, it works fine and is worth the money. We're happy to have it.

Worth every cent--very smooth and easy to use
Tough machine. Bent #4 rebar very predictably--made horsecollars for building foundation easily.

Worth it
Totally worth it. You can do precise bends in a few seconds. Not at fancy as the hitachi but you make your money back in 1 job…

Fast and powerful
I was pleasantly surprised by this unit, it has a pretty substantial metal head to it and is very fast. Would be nice if it had a "slow speed" as a single bump of the trigger puts in maybe 10 degrees of bend, so it's hard to be precise. I haven't bent anything larger than #3, however I can stack 3 and bend them all at once. Piston seal is leaking slightly, right now not a big deal but time will tell if it gets worse.
