Titanfall 2 - Xbox One

I just got this game for my boys and they cannot stop playing it. I bought the basic version because of its age. I did not think it would look good or play well, but I was sooooo wrong. I almost never leave reviews but this game is just stunning. It plays smooth, it still has plenty of other people playing on line too, and it is beautiful to play and watch. Why the company has not made a part III is just stupid. I just went back and bought the original Titan Fall because we want to know how things all started. If you have not bought this game and you like shooting and blowing things up and driving giant robots then get this game. It is one of the best games we have ever purchased. I cannot believe how old this game is, to me it looks like a newly released game. Game on my brothers, game on.

Titanfall 2 is an awsome game! It is definitely an improvement over the first Titanfall. Here's why: Campaign: Titanfall 2 has an incredible campaign! Each level is fun, action-packed, and unique. If you play Titanfall 2's levels, make sure to play them on either one of the two hardest difficulties; easy and normal are too easy. The campaign has a great, interesting story to go with it. Titanfall 2's campaign is a major upgrade over Titanfall 1's campaign. Multiplayer: Titanfall 2's multiplayer is a breath of fresh air. It never gets dull and is always fun to play. It is fast-paced and keeps you entertained. Whether you are fighting on foot as a soldier or piloting a giant mech, you will always have a great time. There are now six Titan classes, each with its own set of unique weapons and abilities. There are also more pilot weapons when compared to the first game. Titanfall 2's multiplayer is easily better than that of Titanfall 1. Overall: Overall, Titanfall 2 is a great improvement over Titanfall 1. With a longer campaign, more customization, and a better multiplayer than the first game, Titanfall has the potential to beat big games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Titanfall 2 is worth every penny needed to buy it. I would like to leave a note about the company that made Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment. This company did a great job with both Titanfall games. Not only are the people in Respawn Entertainment very talented, but they are also not greedy at all. There are no microtransactions, paid map packs, or any other priced items in Titanfall 2 other than the few Prime Titans, which are just differently-shaped versions of the regular Titans. The people in Respawn Entertainment deserve every penny that they are earning.

Titanfall 2 is the only FPS you need to play this year. The Coke and Pepsi of the genre (COD and BF) have weakly attempted to imitate what Titanfall 1 brought to the table - most notably with double jumping and wall running - but Titanfall 2 has returned to show them how it's done. I haven't yet played the single player campaign but have heard only praise (excepting its short length). The multiplayer, however, offers a refined version of the experience that kept me coming back to the first game. Most matches begin much like any FPS, albeit with smooth acrobatic abilities playing a prominent role. Once players have earned Titans, however, the game truly shines. Battles become frenetic and fast-paced, but the controls are so smooth that within a day anyone with FPS experience will develop the skills necessary to keep up. Loadouts and Titans are well-balanced, offering greater variety than the first game. Someone used to the larger franchises may be taken aback by some of Titanfall's quirks, like the high number of NPC fighters in most modes and, obviously, the giant robots that dominate the battlefield. But get used to it (which is surprisingly easy with how fun it is) and you'll discover a game that rewards players who think. As a side note, I felt compelled to write this review given the relatively low expectations and hype surrounding this game. Titanfall 2 did itself no favors by being released right in the middle of several other AAA titles, including the aforementioned duopoly over the genre. I'm not generally a fan of modern multiplayer FPS games - they feel too much like frustrating jobs with little payoff. Titanfall is different. It's a fascinating, deep and, above all, fun game that I hope will get the credit it deserves.

I'll start with 2 disclaimers. First, I've never played the first Titanfall. Second, I've yet to tap into the multi-player. This review is solely based on the short, but incredibly exhilarating, single-player campaign. In a nutshell, if you enjoyed the wonderfully fast-paced, ridiculously fluid adrenaline rush of the Doom reboot, you'll most certainly enjoy this roughly 6-hour thrill ride. Respawn throws everything at you but the kitchen sink. This game masterfully meshes frenetic combat and truly inspired platforming. On more than one occasion, I found myself thinking, "how did they manage to implement (insert your choice of game mechanic) so well there?" Without saying much to avoid spoilers, there is one level in particular that felt like what Quantum Break should've been. I will avoid further specifics because every FPS fan deserves to experience this gem without prior knowledge. Do yourself a favor and give this one a shot. EA made the unfortunate decision to sandwich this between Battlefield and COD. It's a shame because this masterpiece deserves much more love. I freely admit the campaign is short. However, it's wonderfully paced. Combine that with what I hear is an exciting MP experience, and it's a worthy edition to any game collection. I picked this up on sale for $35 through this site. The reduced price tag certainly makes the short campaign easier to accept. I'm sure similar deals will be available during Black Friday. Scoop it up. You won't be disappointed.

Arrived quickly and in mint condition. Never played the 1st Titanfall but I can say Titanfall 2 is a Banging game. Great graphics and gameplay. Runs smooth as silk on the Xbox series X. Top notch.

Una mejora al original en todos los aspectos. Esta ves cuenta con una campaña epica de un jugador la cual te lleva en una gran aventura junto a tu titan "BT". El modo multijugador en linea es super adictivo con muchas mejoras que le puedes hacer a tu piloto y a tus titanes. Ampliamente recomendado.

This is one of my absolute favorite Xbox one games. In my opinion, it is highly underrated. The game starts with an amazing tutorial that guides you through the movements the joystick actions how to jump how to run how to shoot etc. This game has many many hours of fun to be had. I am only halfway through the game and anticipate playing this for many more hours until I finally complete it… Although that will make me sad because I’ve heard that they are not making part three :( I highly recommend this game for any age, for anyone who enjoys a good runner, shooter, 1st person, robot, adventure, action, awesome type of game!! The only drawback, which really isn’t one, is that it’s only a 1 player game (up to 16 on Xbox live). It would have been nice if you play with your friends/family on split screen on a tv… but oh well…
