Far better than the cap versions of these. Not much more expensive and it's quite obvious that the quality is far better. Yes I purchased the other ones and I'm keeping this one.

Quality Bar

I ordered this 7ft bar as a Christmas present for myself. The packaging was top notch with zero damage to the bar during shipping. The bar itself feels as a premium bar should feel but without the premium cost. It uses bearings instead of bushings and the collars will spin for days with weights on them. The knurling is aggressive but doesn’t cut into your hands. There is no center knurling which for some can be a no go for squaring however I use a REP squat pad on the bar while doing squats so it doesn’t affect my use case. I think that this is a very good beginner bar for anyone looking to start a home gym. You will be getting a good quality bay that should last for years to come even well after you decide to upgrade to a Rogue or Rep bar down the road.

Let’s start from the top! I love this barbell. Second, I’ve needed a new barbell for long time and the quality of this bar is phenomenal. This is a must buy when you need to improve your gym equipment. I give it a 4 star due to the fact I just got it.

This thing can hold some weight on it. It’s a very sturdy well built barbell that you can trust. And you need to have a barbell you can trust while lifting over your body.

Very nice and sturdy bar. I have always used the 45lb Olympic bars and this one is perfect for my lifting routine. Knurling is right where I want it and gives it a good grip without tearing up your gloves or hands.
