Jared (Paul Walker, The Fast and the Furious) dreams of finding sunken treasure and making millions, but his girlfriend Sam (Jessica Alba, Fantastic Four, Sin City) is content with their poor but idyllic life in the Bahamas. Still, when they find artifacts from a 19th century pirate ship, she gets caught up in the excitement--until they also find a crashed plane full of smuggled cocaine. Naturally, someone's going to want that cocaine back... From there, Into the Blue is a surprisingly well-plotted action movie, unpredictable in its specifics if familiar in its broader outlines. Even more pleasant, the action itself stays plausible and genuinely engaging throughout. Jared seems able to hold his breath for a preternaturally long time, but aside from that the movie is meticulous about the dangers and threats the characters face and is all the stronger for it. Add to this its unabashed ogling of Alba and Walker (both of whom are astonishing physical specimens) and you have a solid romp. A summer action movie gem from 2005
Jessica Alba and Paul Walker shine as the main protagonists. Engaging characters and plot. Delivers a message of commitment, loyalty, and never giving up. The scuba diving and snorkeling scenes are done well. Great bright cinematography. An uplifting fun summer action movie.

Missing Paul
This movie was captured, for the most part, under the sea. It was great to see Paul as the star of the movie and know that he can stand alone and be an incredible actor. For this film he practiced holding his breath for 3 minutes and accomplished it. He is an incredible swimmer. With Jessica Alba at his side I don't see how it could have been anything but wonderful. I loved the movie. It had a love story (not a chic flick), plenty of adventure and action and a surprise ending. I would highly recommend this movie to both female and male. If you love the sea as much as I do, you will love this movie, too.

In this review I could just say, "Jessica Alba in a bikini" and it would get at least 4 stars but the great thing about this film is the fact that it has just about everything, fights, chases, romance and sex appeal, the film has it all. When I first saw this film I couldn't stop watching it. It's a film you don't have to be in a certain mood for. The actors gel nicely, the plot thickens throughout with a few twists along the way. If you are a teenage boy like me you WILL enjoy this. It is a great film!
