Splat the Cat: Back to School, Splat!

We love Splat the Cat at our house and have several of his books already. This is another adorably illustrated little book, similar to the others. This particular version is paper back (and less durable, therefore) than the hard backed versions we own. But it is perfectly fine (unless, like us, you have a destructive 1 year old in the house!) in terms of quality. Cute plot! This is a good book for older siblings to read, as it demonstrates some of the "virtues" and advantages of having a younger sibling (in this case, it is an older brother with a younger sister).

This book was a fun read aloud for elementary students just starting or returning to school.

This book is very cute. My kids love Splat and adore his pet and this teacher Miss Wimpydimple. This book is more about sibling relationships than it is about back to school but all in all it's adorable and funny. A+++

I love Splat the Cat, it is a VERY cute story. The binding is like what you get from Scholastic, just stapled with a thinner cover.

My son is 7 years old, and although this book is far below his reading level, he still loves to read it. He has collected the Splat series over the last year and each book is as exciting as the first. He will lay in bed at night reading this over and over. Splat is a cute character who parents won't tire of after hearing the same book every night.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our daughter who asked Santa for another book for Christmas. She really enjoys these Splat the Cat books.
