Excellent product. My frogs readily accept this food. No mess. Bit smelly but otherwise a great horned frog product.

Ich selbst habe 6 Schmuckhornfrösche und füttere dieses Futter hauptsächlich - es wird von 5 - kein Witz (nur von5), sehr gut angenommen. Alle sind super gewachsen und lassen daher auch auf eine gute "Zusammensetzung" des Futters schließen. Ich füttere es in 80 % der Fälle, da ich nicht möchte das die Frösche das Jagen komplett "verlernen", aber dieses Futter bietet gerade bei Urlaub oder Nichtverfügbarkeit von Lebendfutter eben eine gute Möglichkeit die Frösche zu versorgen. Auch füttere ich es meinen Tomatenfröschen, halt in wesentlich kleinere Portionen, auch sie nehmen es sehr gut an. Leider ist es "sehr" schwierig das Futter überhaupt in Deutschland zu bekommen. Wichtig ist definitiv, immer MInimum 1 Tag Pause zwischen den Fütterungszeiten (kleine Frösche) bis zu mehreren Tagen Fütterungspause (große Frösche) einzuhalten. Unbedingt auch auf die Futtermenge zu achten. Die 40 Gramm Packung hält wirklich einige Zeit - lasst Euch hier nicht von den Gramm täuschen. Die "Zubereitung" - man taucht den Pellet (oder einen Teil davon) für 2 Sekunden in Wasser und das wars - ist auch sehr einfach. Danach einfach mit Pinzette entsprechend verabreichen. Tolles Futter - ich finde super das sich Hikari hier eher diesem Randhobby (ok nicht in Japan) angenommen hat und dieses Futter überhaupt produziert..

I did some research before buying this. I LOVE frogs and always wanted them but am totally phobic of bugs. This product literally allowed me to finally get a Pacman and I plan on feeding it this exclusively per the directions. I love that I don’t have to worry about balancing calcium etc. and claims its a one stop shop. The smell is horrendous. It does have filler which they wouldn’t normally eat, so be warned some frog enthusiasts think this isn’t good. My view point is I also fed my cat and dog food w filler in it and they lived great long lives. My little guy didn’t like this at first. He literally spit it out haha! But i kept at it and he finally swallowed a piece and he lunges every time for it now. The first couple feedings I had trouble getting him to go for it on the tongs so I tried dropping half a piece next to him and that really triggered his hunting instinct to lunge for it. 2 weeks in and going strong. Thank you for making this product.
