Probably the best budget amplifier on the market
Excellent amplifier. This and the JBL club 5501 both use the same Harman kardon amplifier circuitry. I'm sure there's another much higher end model that uses the same circuit board, because both amplifiers have features that are not listed anywhere in their literature and which both JBL and infinity will deny they have. Most notably the reference 551 a and the club 5501 are capable of sensing an audio signal to turn on and off instead of using a dedicated remote line. they are also capable of putting out quite a bit more power than their rated for which is pretty rare. At $140 I don't think you can buy a better amplifier. Certainly not new.

Great little amp
This amp is a great overall sub amp. The power is underrated and the sound quality is top notch. Power is probably closer to 800 watts. Pairs perfectly with 2 10” Infinity Kappa subs. I will continue to recommend Infinity Reference series amps.

Good buy
It's great for the money but not powerful enough to push 2 12inch subs. The sound and quality is very nice.

Outstanding!
This company does not produce poopy items! Everything in my rig is all infinity! This amp pushes a single infinity ref… 10” sub and wants me to keep turning up the gain. Power is solid, nice weight to the amp, and sound quality is outstanding. I love Harmen

More than your money's worth
Rated at 550 watts RMS at 2 ohms. Delivers right at 820 watts at 2 ohms. Don't take my word for it - go to the site everyone goes to for videos on just about anything and enter the model number coupled with the word "dyno" and see it for yourself. No subsonic filter or wired remote are the only downsides to this amp, but both of those potential issues can be remedied with a head unit that possesses those features. The amp has a terminal for a remote turn on wire, but it also has auto signal detection - which is not advertised or listed as a feature by the manufacturer - which negates the need for a remote turn on wire if you don't already have one in place. Quite possibly the best bang for your buck on the planet when it comes to car audio amplifiers.

La potencia es muy baja, no alimento ni si quiera un sub de bobina sencilla. Sugiero otro modelo
