Berlitz Language Spanish Study Cards Flash Cards)

Love these cards. Using them to refresh my Spanish vocabulary.

Great set of cards,very useful

The vocabulary size was great but the cards were of poor quality so easily damaged by moisture or other elements. Also the cards were not organized in any way such as categories so very difficult to learn by a particular grouping of information. Too random.

Flash cards are a great idea for supplementing learning a language. They can usually be carried around in a handbag or man bag even stuffed into your back pocket and flipped through in a quiet moment. So where did the large box of cards from Berlitz go wrong? It's reckoned 800 words will give you credible fluency in almost any language but Berlitz have gone for a thousand. This gives you a box that's too large to carry around and small wafer thin cards. Also some of the translations are pretty odd. I've found it more practical to use the big box for just storage and to transfer some of the cards, a manageable handful into a small box that I can carry with me on train, bus etc. journeys.

Berlitz is supposed to be one of the best in language learning. The cards are really cheaply made. I could have done better on my printer. They have no context. Waste of money.
