My family and I absolutely love the simpsons and it’s safe to say we’ve watched every episode at least once. This game is perfect for hardcore simpsons fans with a great mix of difficult and easier questions. It comes with plenty of questions, a game board, and characters, as well as other pieces to play the game. Super fun and highly recommend. :)

Fun game, challenging questions. Met my expectations, I would recommend to any Simpsons fan.

This is great game and a lot of fun, although a little overpriced particularly given it's simplicity. Personally, a good update and improvement would be to have the questions possibly marked with the season/episode. In all honesty, its impossible to try and remember the kind of details expected from 33 seasons right. Then maybe you could watch a few episodes or season then try to answer.

I'm a HUGE fan of The Simpsons especially the first fifteen-ish seasons. I've watched sporadically since then because, well, you know. I was really excited to order The Simpsons 25th Anniversary Trivia Game as my wife claimed to be a bigger fan of The Simpsons than I am. What better way to test that theory than have a trivia competition? Right? Wrong. This game relies waaaaaaaay too heavily on luck to be considered a trivia game in my opinion. The object of the game is to be the first to collect seven donuts. You collect donuts by answering trivia questions correctly OR by landing on a space that gives you a donut OR by trading in collectible cards with matching symbols. Approximately 50% of the spaces on the board are labelled "D'oh!" and result in you selecting a trivia card and answering a question. There are two questions on each card and we played that the reader gets to pick which one to ask (hint: big mistake as there is one impossible question on most cards). If you're playing at home, I suggest you pick either the top or bottom of every card. Honestly, the questions themselves were fun and brought back some good memories. This would be wonderful if it was the biggest deciding factor in who wins. Unfortunately, about 25% of the spaces are marked with you get a donut, lose a donut or pass a donut to another player. In our experience, this is what decided most of the games as the questions were so difficult. The remaining 25% of the spaces have Blinky the Fish on them and result in you drawing a character card. Each character card has a symbol on it. Collect matching symbols and you can trade them in when you land on the spaces in the corners. The characters on the cards are a wide variety and brought back probably the biggest feeling of nostalgia while we were playing. Finally, the spaces are set up in a classic window shape. Imagine a square path with one vertical path down the middle and one horizontal path down the middle. You can pick your path at a couple of the intersections, which gives you quite a bit of control over which space you land on; again, influencing the outcome of the game. I'm sure by this point I sound like someone that lost and is blaming the game. In fact, I won every round we played, but only answered a handful of trivia questions correctly all night. We haven't played the game since. If you're interested in a trivia game that relies on knowledge to determine a winner, keep looking. If you want to take a trip down memory lane by looking at a bunch of character cards, it would be easier to visit a fan site. The best use of this game would be to take turns asking each other questions on the cards and simply tallying up the results... or maybe use the cards to host a Simpsons trivia night in a bar. Overall, I cannot recommend this board game.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for another diehard Simpsons fan. We thought we knew a lot but there were a surprising number of difficult questions! Good range of difficulty, wish there were more questions though.
