Good deal for a great at home boba!
This. Is. AWESOME! I will agree with another reviewer that the Thai tea tastes a little more like Tiger tea, but is still super good nonetheless. I just had surgery and haven't been able to leave the house so I bought this product for my boba fix while healing up. I used about 6oz of water for mine, so its a bit more diluted but thats a better balance for tea to boba pearls. The pearls are quite soft but have a great taste. The tea is so sweet and flavorful. Really enjoy this product! Super easy to use, great value. Cute box and easy to follow instructions. And pretty decent quality! Can't wait to enjoy the rest of this box!

GREAT tea, mediocre boba
ive definitely had better prepackaged tapioca pearls; this one you have to microwave for about 2x as long as it says on the package before they become adequately soft. the flavor of the tea itself is fantastic tho!! i wish it were a little more "spiced" but for the price it's a very good deal.

Easy and Quick Boba Tea! 🧋
I wasn’t expecting much but wanted to try to make some Taro Boba Tea at home to save some money. It surprisingly tastes great and is very easy to make. There are 5 packets of taro tea mix, 5 packets of brown sugar boba, and 5 straws in the box. So you can make 5 drinks total. The instructions are simple and it’s very quick. It’s a little too sweet for me (I typically order mine half sweet if I’m getting it from a tea house) which is the only reason I knocked off a star.

OMG, SO GOOD!
I visited my son in a bigger city and tried bubble tea for the first time. It was brown sugar milk tea. I was hooked. I live in a rural area so no chance of finding it around me. I researched a lot of the bubble tea's on Amazon and chose this one. The coffee flavored, I love coffee and thought I wouldn't be disappointed if the brown sugar style tasted way off. OMG, so good! So easy too! I really liked that I didn't have to "cook" the packet off bobbles separate. I even bought a small container of whole milk thinking I needed it. No, I did NOT. Hot water from my tea kettle, dumped the packet in a coffee cup and stirred it after I added the hot water and put the bobbles in, stirred again and then straight to the microwave and did the 45 seconds. Took it out and stirred good again and poured into a tall glass of ice, so simple and so good. I will be buying this again. Those wondering, yes the bobbles had a good texture and taste!

Meh
So normally I like the flavor of taro, but I wasn’t a fan of the artificial taste of this taro milk tea. It is also super sweet and I tried to mellow it out by adding regular black tea to it but I still can’t get myself to like it. The boba are ok but they are a little soft/soggy around the edges at baseline. If I could give letter grades, I’d probably give this product a C or C+. Average, passes as bubble tea, but not great.

Disgusting, waste of money
Look, I don't say I'm an expert in many areas. But I drink Thai tea every chance I get. And this is NOT in any way close to tasting like Thai tea. And not even close to anything I would want to drink, even putting aside the fact that it is Thai tea. I posted it on our local Buy Nothing site for Free, someone came and got it, and already she's re-posting if anyone else wants to try it. It's gross. You may be saying, maybe she just wouldn't be happy with any boba from a box. Wrong! Bought one at Costco (forget the brand) the other day and loved it, but they didn't have the Thai flavor (hence this purchase after having a good experience with that one). Save yourself and don't purchase this.

Surprised!
I ordered because I was curious how well an “instant” boba tea could really be. You could say I was skeptical. I ended up ordering Taro and I have been pleasantly surprised with just how flavorful it was and how well the boba cooked up (not too soggy, not too undercooked). I do add a splash of coconut milk or almond milk to mine. While I haven’t had it without either of those yet, I don’t see it being absolutely necessary by any means. I’m sure the flavor holds up well enough on its own. Like I said, I was very surprised and will be ordering again for those days I don’t want to leave the house to buy some at a shop, and am also too lazy to wait around and make my own that isn’t instant.

I'm so happy I can make this at home!
I am a bubble tea fanatic and I'm really joyful that j can now reproduce the great flavor and texture of the milk tea and bobs pearls right at home. I got the taro flavor and I love the purple color and slightly flower, creamy taste. I add the powder to hot coconut, oat or almond milk (I don't do dairy.) Then you squeeze the brown sugar pearls into the mix and voila+! Instant bubble tea! I'm a happy chick. A must for bubble tea lovers (also helps save you money because you can make it at home.)
