Ceramic Wash & Coat

Griot’s Garage Ceramic Wash and Coat is fantastic. It cleans well and leaves a noticeably slick, glossy finish in one simple step. Water beads immediately after rinsing, and the paint looks freshly detailed with very little effort. I’ve used it on paint, glass, trim, and wheels with great results. It’s quick to apply, rinses clean, and doesn’t leave streaks or residue. Perfect for maintaining a ceramic-coated vehicle or adding protection to one that isn’t. Great product from a trusted brand that is easy, effective, and a real time-saver. Highly recommended.

Soap quality is good, and works as it should. As long as you follow directions this stuff works amazing. If you have any questions go Griots Q&A section on their website for this product lots of good info on there. The streaking is user error and they even say on there that it’s not suppose to sud because of the Si02 properties. I even tried in my foam cannon and it’s not like a snow foam which I figured but it does sud nicely for a ceramic wash. 10/10 would recommend. People hate on this product because they don’t understand it!

This product is very good. The only drawback I see is it does get a lot of suds when washing. It leaves a great shine and the rain just slides off.

So compared to similar products, this does a pretty good job for the money. I used a foam gun to apply, and scrubbed the car with a regular microfiber wash mitt. The soap cleans well, and does an "ok" job of water repelling. I tasted it after stripping the ceramic coating off of my car with a strip wash, and it did ok and didn't last very long. BUT, where this shines is using it every week or to on top of your ceramic coat to add protection and prolong the life of the existing coating. After reapplying my fresh ceramic coat, I use this when I was my car, and it works great. This is a better choice than some other stronger detergents that will eat away at your ceramic coat. It's also a much larger bottle than I expected, and a little goes a long way in a foam gun! Will definitely continue to use this product, and recommend it to any car enthusiast, or just anyone who wants to take good care of their ride!

I use Griot Garage 3 in1 ceramic wax and auto their speed shine from time to time. Before today I’d been using a chemical guys product that created great suds. I applied per instructions for a foam wash. It did not adhere to car well. There were very few suds and i felt like i was only using water. When i dried, it took extra effort to remove streaks. I’m not new to washing my car. Perhaps I missed something. But as it stands i cannot recommend this or use it again. Good luck.

This stuff works great but highly recommend using as a secondary wash. I will wash my car then foam with this and spray off works great and water beads OFF.

Great product. Purchased several for presents

I'm a Griot's poster child, and have been using their products since the 1980s. But I'm not a fan of this car wash. Maybe it's meant to keep the ceramic finish intact, but I don't think it's particularly good at removing dirt. I'm going to try a different product when the huge bottle I bought it gone.
