Base Boost - Spinner Hand Luggage

Arrived earlier than expected, one of the lightest cabin spinners I’ve come across - weighed exactly 2kg, which is a big deal when most spinner carry-ons are closer to 3kg. The extra 1kg matters when you’re trying to maximise what you can bring. The size is 55 x 35 x 23 cm, (35 Liter) which fits within the cabin limits for most airlines (including budget airlines). Multiple pockets and zippers (including 1 in front, and 2 mesh zipper pockets inside), to organise smaller items instead of digging through the big compartment. The wheels are very smooth, and balanced. Just a heads-up, it’s a soft-shell fabric suitcase, so it can pick up dust if you store it uncovered. Just keep it in a plastic bag when it’s not in use. The trade-off is worth it, though, the fabric is why the bag stays so lightweight. If you want a super light cabin spinner that doesn’t consume your weight allowance, this is an excellent option.

I don't know why this was only available from the UK, but it's such a great suitcase, I feel lucky to have gotten it. It's super lightweight and manageable. When I first took it to the airport, the guy at the desk weighed it and I could tell he first couldn't believe it was within guidelines because I had packed it full and still it was under the required weight. The suitcase is designed so well, it fit just as many clothes as a slightly larger suitcase I have of nearly the same weight. This one qualifies as carryon for many airlines' international flights. It's getting really hard to get these 2wheel suitcases that have more packable area than the spinner wheel ones, so I feel especially lucky to have gotten this one. When Samsonite makes these ultralightweight great quality 2-wheeled suitcases, there's just no competition. Unfortunately, they aren't making them so much anymore.
