Product arrived in a well-padded styrofoam box. But the bar itself had spotty cosmetic damage (probably due to poor handling during manufacture) on the heat fins. Fortunately I am not too worried about cosmetic wear or what implications this might have for the water resistance of the enclosure-- since I am using it as an overhead indoor shop light. I am powering this bar on 110V AC using a Padarsey 12V 30A power supply, which seems to work very well. The output is impressively bright and well worth the 70$. I'm happy with the product despite the (mostly superficial) cosmetic damage out of the box, I can forgive this considering my specific application and how (relatively) little I paid for this 52" bar.

I have a 2008 H3. I bought this 52" light bar last month, mounted it using the separate kit, and wired it up. I like it very much, especially for the price. It is super Bright. It doesn't reach as far as I would like, but for 250 yards everything is lit up. In the woods it was a huge improvement at night. So far no moisture even after a month of winter rains in Louisiana. If it does, I'll be resealing it myself. The mounting kit that it comes with is decent quality and is made to lock positions. The screws are a bit to long, but adding a few narrow washers with the lock washers it worked fine. As I said, I used a different mount and had to modify the mount's hardware to make it square with the light bar. Also, it was a very tight fit. Cons: This thing screams noisily after 35mph, increasing pitch the entire time... Shockingly and hilariously. When riding down the interstate other drivers were looking everywhere trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. It gets REAL high pitched at 65-70. At 45-50 is sounds like an emergency broadcast system test. Either way, it was a surprise and I recommend following the next paragraph on fixing this. I bought a roll of stick on door trim and ran a length across the top heat sink and across the bottom heat sink (fins). What I had left over I cut into 8 equal lengths and from the ends stuck it on each fin going towards the center. The howling vanished and I was left with a little bit of wind noise. Overall I am happy with this light bar. I'll be buying another to keep in storage. Thanks!
