I’m not sure what is being reviewed here. I’m writing about the Collectors Long Term Protectant. I used it for the first time today on an antique pistol. The reason I decided to use it is that it gets good reviews for working against rust and corrosion for up to five years. Its composition is a bunch of chemicals I can’t pronounce. It’s completely synthetic. Looks like gun oil with very little odor. It is VERY OILY. Applied with a q-tip and a cleaning patch lightly. It was still a little messy. The pistol looked good afterwards. If it works then the little bit of messy for a one year application is worth it. After all done the pistol looked great. I have a good feeling about the product but we’ll see
