I had quite a number of in-ground Hunter pop up irrigation heads that were leaking and pooling around the unit. After eliminating the ones that weren’t actually leaking (just needing spray adjustment) by stopping the spray with my thumb and looking for water bubbling from around the unit, I needed to fix 4 units. This was a much easier fix than I imagined. I watched a video on removing the heads without digging them up, by removing a donut of turf around them and then unscrewing the units from the pipe in the ground (check it out on YouTube). Using this method I had all 4 heads repaired and leak free in less than an hour. Cheaper and less wasteful than replacing the entire unit. I recommend these seals!

Great quality, would buy again

I went around to the local sprinkler shops and big box stores, and they did not (want to) stock repair parts for the ubiquitous PGP sprinklers. These fixed the water leaking from the case threads, and saved me replacing six sprinkler heads! The old gaskets were a bit tough to remove, and I was looking for a tab, unlock, etc.... but you really just smash the retention ring over the sprinkler head (after separating the spring seat ring and gasket ring. These just snap over the rotor head. Works great and saved a bunch of money!

I couldn't get these to fit on my Hunter PGP sprinkler heads. That is, they slide onto the sprinkler head itself, but the head then doesn't fit into the outer can (the top doesn't screw on the whole way). When the top is not screwed on completely, the sprinklers leak even worse than before. Perhaps a bad batch? I will be trying these seals from a different source.
