Great quality sharpening stones. I have been using these and similar stones for years. They are reliable and last a while and give your knives a nicely honed edge. I tend not to use these down to wafer thin like some people do. I am a little lazy and if you use them a lot there comes a point where I have to decide to spend quite a while re-finishing the stones with the included stone flattener/refiner, but because they are nicely priced and I get a great deal of use out of them, sometimes I just opt for a new set rather than trying to maintain the stones. Dealers' choice I guess but I think getting a nice fat set of fresh stones is the better way to go. In any case, these stones are well worth the money and the process of sharpening your own knives is therapeutic and rewarding. Just be careful and learn how to use them. There is an abundance of how-to videos online.
